Banned for trying to buy boost

It should be.

Maybe invent /3 bot spam channel

This is the norm nowadays, to dissuade people from doing further harm to the already pathetic state of the game.

Glad we can agree for once as well

Definitely should , the constant 24/7 boost spam is so tiresome

They dont respect any of the channels they’re given , they spam LFG , LFD , new player channel and of course all the chat channels available.

Most people agree that there should be a dedicated place for boosters if blizz refuses to “boost them out of the game”.

Dude, they spam Revendreth /1 level phase now, if you don’t use Threads of Fate levelling. They have some buttcrack spamming general chat in Revendreth to the new players who have yet reached max level.

I’m not even surprised, thankfully for me I use ToF for leveling and do it via dungeons only so I dont have to deal with it. Disgusting practices and the fact its still running rampant is pathetic on Blizzard’s part

It is. Since Gallywix Community was banned, more popped up in their void, and it is so clear these people boost for in game gold only to sell for real life money. Which is a CLEAR violation upon the ToS.

Yeah as I said not surprising, I also download the badboy addon a few days ago so I’m not frustrated as much anymore , but the boost buyers deserve the same treatment as the boost spammers themselves, they participate in boost buying and selling and deserve a ban.

Completely agree.

Well, might you have been listed as part of the group in LFG and people reported it for boost selling? That is bannable, but actually buying a boost there without being the advertising party should not, AFAIK it isn’t a TOS violation if everything was done with ingame gold.

Doesn’t mean I agree with it being such a core part of the game now, but no TOS violation = no ban. No point in challenging it over a 3 day ban though, take 2 weeks before you get an automated reply and if you’re lucky you’ll get to talk to an actual GM within a month…

Nice to see they might actually be starting to crack down on boosting though, about time…

A bit on the rough side there but I cant say I’m sad a boost buyer is gone, you people are the reason why boost sellers exist in the first place

If you made a wtb boost group in lfg then your ban was justified and deserved.

That’s what I think is the case and one more reason why the ban is very justified, he actively participated in boost buying/selling and got an adequate ban.

Sorry for your ban , but it sounds like this is not the truth. Not even blizzard is stupid enough to ban you for advertising when you were actually trying to buy boost. I have never heard such obscured ban happen and with the text from blizzard there must be more. .

He created a group in LFG to ask for a boost which is basically boost selling/buying and he got a ban for it which is more than deserved

We need more options to buy power not less.

So saying that buying should be bannable is dumb af.

Huh ?

That makes more sense. But that action was not mentioned in his tread.

He did not, did you litterally just ignore every thing he wrote?

He asked a person in LFG for the boost. he did not create a group or posting… he just whispered another guy who had, Stop with your misinformation you twaat.
