He flat out stated that he made an LFD group, which blizzard marked as “advertising”, even though technically it wasn’t.

I woulden’t believe that blizz would ban someone like that either… But sometimes blizz just auto-ban you. He probably whispered someone who was flagged to get banned already and got caught up in that.

Well. If it was me , first i would never write it in here because i would not really get anything out of it. If what is described just happend i would leave asap this game or make complaint to customer support. But im am sorry to say i do not believe that a salty and drunk blizzard employee just gave a ban for something completely opposite

Jesus bloody Christ, I literally asked OP in a direct manner if he used a chat or LFD and he confirmed that he used LFD on more than one occasion.

He literally admitted to have done it in LFG, he simply missed the right word and said LFD instead of LFG
He is refering to… looking in the LFD to see a WTB listing made by a seller, and then whispering that person to buy a boost.
Are people really this low knowledge about this that they can’t understand something as simple as that? even with his poor wording?

Tbh, i dono why i’m even trying here… But you guys are working way too hard to misunderstand his wording.
Except it’s not a mistake and is a deserved ban because he participated in LFG to boost buying/selling, which creates huge spam in LFG and makes finding a group a pain

Agree. Noone just get banned Randomly. There is no autoban that get you banner for example if i had 5 friends who decided to report just a random player that came past us. And that would cause an autoban, how obscured is that? That is something that is taken out of the blue.

Ban NOT deserved. I mean…you can use the same message on /2 , but not in /lfg . Ok fine, whatever, a warring will do, but ban?! If it was bannable on every /channel, then yup, well deserved. But isn’t. THAT is the problem.
I’m sure this was an auto-ban thing, since Blizzard have fired many customer support staff and are now using the “bot defender”, especially in this period of the year.
