I have watched the said streamer a couple of times and thought ok this is for 13 year olds.
The guy is doing what he has to do in order to live at home still with his mom, by cultivating a base of people who hold him in god like status on Twitch and in WOW.
I sometimes think that blizzard brought classic back to make sure that people like him have a place to go and disappear and so they can leave retail for the rest of us.

For me it’s not him for say, but everything people like him stand for.
Brainwashing a generation by setting an example of sitting at home and making a living off playing games.
Then preaching to their masses, as if they’ve got all the answers.
It’s unproductive, it tends to have a knock on effect.
But of course this is all my opinion.

People hate streamers because their own childhood dreams of playing games for a living were crushed and they act out externally.

They are mald and jealous because they are not as rich. Their transmog… no comment. Retailfrogs hate him because they support the casual theme park that the game has become since WOTLK and they don’t want him exposing these facts. Truth hurts.

Trying to get someone banned because you don’t like their opinion is far more toxic than giving an opinion people don’t like.
If Blizzard didn’t want to encourage the kind of toxicity your talking about they wouldn’t have things like /spit in the game. They have been asked to remove it plenty of times, but obviously they think some people should just be spat on.
If Twitch never existed then “your boy” Asmongold would be just another generic high school dropout who plays games as a hobby, enjoys casual racism, catfishing, stealing bikes, skinny dipping and random gun crime, who would inevitably spend some time in jail then become a pig farmer like his daddy.
As it is he has accidentally formed a narcissistic online cult and makes money spawning content from other people’s content. He creates nothing, is an empty vessel and would shrivel up like the last wiener on a bonfire if his internet went down for 24 hours.

He does play more than them, but if you think he supports it more, you simply never watch his streams. He wants it to be better. Here are a few issues I remember him bringing back often, that come from every expansion and are still a problem today: titanforging, no master looter, raid obsolescence and catch up gear, level boost & store mounts…
