Bastion World Quests

It would be more proper to call them World Questlines because the amount of steps and phases some of these quests have is sickening.

I went to do a Calling in Bastion, one of the World Quests: Get on top of a hill, activate a phalanx, bring the phalanx to the end of a long cave, kill 12 mobs collect 6 crystals, get out of the cave, get back to the top of the hill again, and then do 3 formations (which was really annoying because there was a lot of players standing round), and put the phalanx in the place again. Easily 3 Legion World Quests worth of work in here.

World Quests in Shadowlands aren’t well regarded for their reward/time invested ratio or just their quality, but Bastion World Quests are particularly annoying and long to do, and it’s not like they reward more for the effort put into them, add that to the terrible navigation the zone has with all the verticality problems and the lack of Flight Masters in the entire zone and you have really long, undesirable and annoying experience doing callings on it.

Consider making World Quests in the area shorter just so they’re comparable to WQ’s from other zones regarding time needed to do them.

The legion and BFA system we had up until the last patch was fine and no need to change it but apparently according to Ion and others there was millions of feedback asking to go back to MoP style dailies and none shareable mobs and items to make it more immersive and meaningful…said no one ever .

TBH I think all the zones are equally bad. Some days there are just 5 quests up, all spaced out over the zones.
I miss tyhe variety in Legion and BFA where you had a mix with profession, PVP and mini game quests to choose from as well.

What? Takes 5 mins max!

All this takes like 5 mins, and still miles better than it’s Larion counterpart, now that’s a real Questline. The main reason I picked Phalynx over Larion.

I am beginning to miss Beach head LOL. I actually do really miss the candy crush quests and the line ones. A refreshing break from fighting or running

zones and flight path were made to waste your time as much as possible.
How else you would explain that the wqs are never close to a flight path?
Best example is the anima parachute crap in revendreth. I mean you could just mirror it and the quest was nice and fine, but nope, the starting point must be on the other side and of course you need to run up several stairs till you get there.

rubbish system.

Actually what Ion said was that people complained about travel time being longer than quest time. So they decide the solution was to increase quest time (rather than reduce travel time).
I think what some people miss from MOP (Me included) is having a quest area with five or six quests that you do all at the same time. So you do your faction dailies in a shortish amount of time with minimal travel. The current system of scattering WQs across a wide area is just a pain, especially without flying.
