So I’ve had this issue since 11.1.5 where whenever I start the battle.net client it will start “updating” WoW, Diablo 4 and whatever game installed on their app. This happens every single time I open the client, and it’s taking forever to finish. There are no actual updates, and fresh re-installing did nothing on my end. And yes, it’s all installed on SSD
Firing up a game, say WoW, will take way longer than it used too, black character screens for longer periods of times, being stuck on loading screens at 70% ish for a long time before it finishes, both with and without addons, and different graphics settings.
I’m out of ideas to what causing this. I figured it was a short issue with the client and games and tried to wait it out, but now it’s just frustrating lol.
Not entirely, cuz i can and have been able to play. It’s just taking 5-10x longer from the moment i start the client to the moment i’m in game. even porting to new zones taking ages. similar, but not the same case, hence why I’m here.
Yes, this is also being discussed in the thread, as it’s the main issue many have been facing since yesterday. Of course, other minor issues might also be appearing or overlapping, but it’s better to address everything in one relevant thread instead of creating 200 separate ones.
