Battle of Wintergrasp - PvP bugg?

So i experienced something wierd today and i know an irl friend that had the same issue. I joined a random battle ground “Battle of Wintergrasp” spesifficaly and had a great time constantly beeing in battle but keeping out of the main fight rather focusing on capturing bases so that we could have enough siege veicles for getting trough the walls. After doing that for nearly the entire fight and it beeing 2 minutes left before we lost i resurected close to the main group and started running back south again (because why not). A friend of mine that where also in the BG commented that right after i resurected (and i had just been in combat and died) where labeled as innactive and a few seconds later i where kicked out of the BG. So im just wondering what’s upp whit that? is it random ppl sending a dumb report because i dont joined the mindless zerg or is it a inngame bugg/issue?

Sinecerily a confused Hunter

Basically you got reported for being afk, you’ll see a debuff (a icon of a sad cow) which you have about a minute to do something, next time run towards and npc and attack it, that should solve it. Sometimes people don’t appreciate workshop raiders because what people don’t understand about Wintergrasp is that controlling workshops is vital because it gives your team access to produce vehicles and possibly turn the table, whilst cutting their production off.

Instead, if the first team fight is lost, people either start panicking/blaming healers or they simply abandon the match, which btw should be punishable but that’s just me. But people will never get the concept that Wintergrasp workshop control is paramount.

Just to add to what Valdrakon said, attacking NPCs doesn’t work, make sure to get into some PvP combat (attack an enemy player or an enemy vehicle)

As for Wintergrasp AFK debuff, it happened several times to me when I stayed more than 30 seconds in a graveyard, either petting my dog, pouring some water into a glass or going for a quick bio.

Players are extremely salty and they will refulate their frustration on someone that’s not instantly moving from the graveyard, even when winning. Just make sure to keep an eye on your debuffs.
