Intentional AFKing to throw game & lower rating - (Possibly RMT win trading)
There appears to be no method to report players that works when they are AFKing in a BGBlitz game.
They are free to sit there and afk for either spite, laziness, apathy, or worse… RMT trade purposes. The entire team has reported a person sat in our GY afk tonight with 0 punishment for that person. On 2 separate occasions. They were able to just sit there and troll in the chat with no method of reporting afk.
I’m unsure of the reason why this has happened a few times now in random games, but when you wait 30-40 mins for a game to pop only to have Nathan the no-lifer sit in a corner and either intentionally de-rank or just throw his toys out the pram because it’s not an easy win, I question how you can even stop or disincentive this behaviour?
I’m aware that Blizzard CS is truly atrocious but these people are a cancer and ruin the game for people like myself that do not have endless hours to queue up and have their playtime ruined by these degenerates.
Generally a report queues up a player for investigation, this takes into account their overall inactivity and not just one match. While they can be kicked if they stay AFK during the battle though due player reports.
Then report and mute them for abusive chat.

For example this player was penalised recently for AFK in over half his matches:
And then spammed 4 additional threads about the subject matter e.g. the system is actually working.
We had to report for a non afk related issue, which means IF and i’d like to stress IF this person get’s investigated which i highly doubt, then blizzard will be looking for a non related issue as it wont state that they are AFK.
I do no have confidence that blizzard actions these reports as players behaving like this and deranking / RMT win trading is only becoming more prevalent… so clearly, it would appear not enough attention is being given to this.
To follow, just had ANOTHER 40 minute wait into a game where the paladin was afking with flag at inactive base with 2 people and threw EOTS giving the other team an achievement.
This is far too suspicious to be coincidental there seems to be a lot of win trades/intentional griefing going on.
A paid boost to 1800 for the transmog only costs like $50. Of course there’s a lot of win trading. The current lack of healers in Blitz makes queue syncing absolutely trivial.
Think I was in the same match, Pally took the flag to the inactive base then we lost both bases, this was after we wiped most of them and clearly were the stronger side. The Pally was throwing it along with another.
