Battleground Blitz and Solo Shuffle Disconnect/Crash incidents should provide an option to re-join battle

I have just experienced this absolute nonse of a fatal error crashing my client right after zoning into Battle of Gilneas in BLITZ upon which i instantly restarted the game and now I’m sitting here in a major city with being “LOCKED” to the battleground instance, but NO OPTION TO REJOIN THE FIGHT?

So basically I’m forced to just watch and wait until the battle ends and then enjoy some undoubtedly insanely high rating loss because someone didn’t think this through or what?

WHY IS THERE NO OPTION TO REJOIN THE FIGHT IF I’M ALREADY LOCKED INTO THE BATTELGROUND INSTANCE?!?!

What the actual sack of maddness is this?

EDIT: Actually received aprox 200 rating loss penalty for this. Amazing. Thank you. Now I need to spend another whole week to catch up again, because of a random client error that I have 0 control over. :frowning: THIS NEEDS A FIX ASAP BLIZZ! (Not that we’re crashing but that we have no option to re-join)

I thought you could, have you maybe been kicked?

It’s not Blizzard’s fault you had a crash. If it was a Blizzard problem we’d be inundated with rage posts. Most of which wouldn’t have submitted a proper bug report. Just saying.

you get kicked if you’re inactive long enough to prompt an afk kick or offline kick from instance yeah.

A friend was in a similar boat, tbf the solo brackets shouldnt even exist imho

So being unable to re-join the fight is somehow my fault? Or did you just misunderstand what I was asking of blizz here? I simply want them to fix that if I’m already locked to a rated battleground or solo shuffle fight, the game should allow me to re-join instead of slapping the “no-show” deserter debuff on me for no reason.

Blizzard’s oversight has just literally punished 7 other players in the battleground (in case they lost) along with me.

Look at my first question… and Blizzard cant’ be blamed for your unstable computer.

Well to answer the first question.

  1. I didn’t know you could kick people in Blitz
  2. If so, why would anyone do it before the battle even starts ( I crashed about 1 second right after loading in)
  3. I have no found an option to rejoin battle once. (Yes this is not the first occurence in my case - I have had this happen about 7-8 times total across different characters). Always kicked out, deserter debuff and no choice to re-join.
  4. If you’re talking about the auto-kick feature (timeout basically) then this is easily fixed by exactly what i’m asking for. An option to re-join.

Why do you keep responding in a fashion that does not relate to what I’m asking of Blizzard at all? o.O I have never asked blizzard to fix my crashes but the fact that there is no re-join option.

Once again: I am asking to blizzard to fix the fact that there is no option/button to re-join an already started blitz/solo shuffle battle.

I mean in classic brackets this isn’t even a fixable issue. And afaik the solo actually brought many people who lack friends or flexible enough time schedule into PVP that otherwise couldn’t get past 2.1k with pugs. I’ve been able to get multiple duelists already only thanks to SS, since all my friends I normally play with only run with the same one class.
