Battleground Queue Times and Team Balance

Dear Blizzard Support,

First of all, let me say that I admire your 30 years of experience in the gaming industry. But I can’t help but wonder – are player feedback sessions stored in the same vault as the mythical Titan artifacts? Because it seems like the matchmaking system might have missed a few memos!

We’re waiting 7-15 minutes for battlegrounds, and after all that time, the Horde strolls in with priests and druids ready to heal their way to victory, while we’re left scrambling with not a single healer in sight. Are Horde players bringing snacks for the matchmaking gods, or is it just sheer luck?

Maybe it’s time to shorten the queue times to 1 minute – you do have 8 million players, right? That’s more than enough to shuffle up some fair teams. Or at least, can we agree to give both sides a fighting chance?

Thanks for reading this, and I hope my lighthearted feedback sparks some action (or at least a chuckle). I’m looking forward to seeing if we can finally have healers on both sides without summoning the old gods.

Blizzard will not read this anyway, but… they have to make random BGs cross-factional. One queue to rule them all. First healer goes to team A, 2nd to team B, dps to team A, next dps to team B…
