"Battleground recruiter" on Spinebreaker switched from Alliance to Horde

The queue times for horde on Spinebreaker are horrible (around 15 minutes) for normal random BG.

Usually we could make use of the alliance BG recruiter, lowering the queue to around 3 minutes.

But now, the BG recruiter changed to a horde char, leaving the horde queue back to 15 minutes.

Is there any specific reason for this? Why not have a BG recruiter for each faction, so that people can choose whichever has the shortest queue instead? Or open up the freaking battlegroups so that you are not limited to one where one faction is overrepresented.

Edit: The recruiter was changed back to alliance after a BG round.

Does anyone know of servers with more balanced battlegroups, where horde normal BG queue times are lower?

There are no battlegroups anymore. Its all region-wide now.

The mercenary system is supposed to give the majority faction the option to queue as the other one, when the difference is beyond a certain threshold. If it went from alliance–>horde that is most likely a bug of some sort.

not sure if it is still like that but you cannot queue as merc if the queues are more or less balanced or not completely out of balance like usual.

maybe you tried queuing at a time where both sides got no people or something
