I know that nobody at Blizzard care much about PVP, but funcionality that this or similar addons provide is basically cheating. That addons can let you target any enemy player no matter where are they on map, as well see their current status and hp bars, which will allow you to have awareness of all your enemies anywhere on map any time at any objective.. This purge of many things now shouldn’t allow this either to exist, but yet, it does..
It is stupid to say “just not used it” when it competitive circumstances you would always want to have any advantage possible
Original is not updated but there is BattlegroundEnemiesFixed and Peralax BG addons which are getting the same features and updates.. Blizzard somewhat made it complicated, but there is workaround it seems.
That exists in the core functions of wow, you can target enemies with macro and bind it to a key to do it while inside arena all the time..

No it is not the same. First of all battlegrounds and arenas are totally different and I’m talking about battlegrounds. In arenas you already have default enemy frames even without addons, just with limited information.
In battlegrounds you never had default option for that and also binding every 10 enemies on macro keys for each few spells is ridiculous and nobody does that..
