Battlenet app Friends list & chat down

Since a few days all my friends and chats have dissappeared from the Battlenet app on my iPhone 12 with iOS 16.4.1. I have a button Add Friends, but when I try to add a Real ID friend it says we are already friends…

I can see them in the Groups section in the groups I am admin of or member of and there I can see their status, but there is no option to start a chat individually. Chat in the group works.

Also people are sending me messages individually, but they are not coming through in the app :frowning:

I removed the app and reinstalled it from the App Store (version 1.20.0), I logged into the app again and verified via the battlenet authenticator, but still same problem.

I saw a similar report on the US forums, but it should have been fixed ‘they say’.

I took a look into this and it’s still actively being worked on after the previous hotfixes, unfortunately we don’t have additional information or timeframe to share at this point.

Glad it’s worked on, as I have same problem on Android.

Still happening for me on iOS. Any idea of when we may have a solution? Friends on Android reporting their’s is fine.

It’s been temperamental, at best, for years now. I’d not anticipate a proper fix any time soon.
