Thanks everyone, we’ve seen the reports of this and are investigating!
For now, some have had success in switching from Standard to Beta or the other way around so that may be worth a try, but it doesn’t look to be a reliable long term fix and so hopefully the underlying issue can be addressed soon enough as well.
Also seeing some reports that adding a passkey has helped, which of course shouldn’t be required, but would be interested to hear if that helps for anyone here.

I used your switch to beta advice and can confirm I didn’t have to manually log in this time when it restarted.
I have same issue… It seems erratic… it has remembered, but mostly seems to forget…
I did wonder if it remembered if I went fully into game, but forgot if I exited the app without going into a game… but that not reliable… anyway… its broken and VERY annoying.
Same issue and constant WOW51900319 errors.
Please, Blizzard, I am begging you, just go like thirty seconds without making your game unplayable. Please.

years ago I would say it is incompetence(I lean to this option more, even now), but i wouldn’t be surprised if this annoyance was on purpose, so we use passkey…

I don’t feel like setting up a Passkey. I’m so old that I’ve no idea what it even does now lol
What happens when we lose our device/phone for example, or change it? Do we go through series of inconvenience to be able to login to our account in order to set up a new device?
I also hope Bnet login fix happens soon. Yeah, I don’t wanna manually re-type my password every time I open the app @.@
Contrary to common belief, goldfish actually has quite a good memory and can not only learn trick but also remember them for years.
And the launcher forgets my credidentials too. Passkey? What passkey? I read the description on Blizzard site and understood nothing.
Withdrawing this, it asked for my info again when I started up my pc for today
So far this seems to have stopped it asking for my p/w
don’t use passkey, just wait till they “fix” it
I can confirm that since changing to the Beta version, It is remembering my details.
I was just requested username and password even though I logged in yesterday and selected “Remember me” option. Let’s see if switching to the beta helps…
IT is being looked into so hopefully we will get an update soon.
Basically everything is in the title, since the latest bnet update I need to log in every day and type my information to log in even tho i checked the box to stay logged in. I was logged in for years before but the newest updates made the app worse and worse. Please fix this

Same issue for me, for now i copy paste all info because i am lazzy but on the long end it can compromise our accounts…

This bug should have been fixed now. Feel free to report here if the issue continues.
The Mythbusters actually had an episode about it. 
Passkey is a recent(ish) system that allows you to login without a password, and save the connection/login on a device. You can find our support page here if needed.
And no, we’re not forcing (or trying to force) players to use it. Passkey is currently only available via the Beta version of the Battle.net application. This bug affect(ed) both versions.

same here i just restart because windows update and battle net app want my password again. I dont have BETA version
