Battlenet authenticator problems

Hello, I have a serious issue with the battlenet authenticator.#

Let me explain the steps I took after receiving my email to make it more transparent what I have and haven’t done, so for you to better help me.

1. I removed the old authenticator from my mobile phone.
2. I then installed from this site, the battlenet app.
3. I logged into my battlenet app, and it asked me to check my authenticator for the code it output.
4. I was like, but I thought this was the authenticator, but it seems to be similar to the desktop app and not the authenticator?
5. Where do I download the battlenet wow login authenticator? Like I said the app I downloaded from my account is very similar to the desktop version, i didn’t see any authenticator anywhere.

Again, any help would be appreciated, I need to download the authenticator, and not presumably the equivalent of the desktop app for the phone?

It seems that no sooner have I made this post, after doing a search for world of warrant authenticator it found the right app. I have no idea what the app is they are offering on the website, seems more like a mobile version of the desktop application, but it had no authenticator attached. It was very quick and easy to install. It asked me if I wanted to authenticate the app for login or something like it. I don’t need any help now, thanks

I did exactly that today but I was unable to log in on the Battle.net Mobile app after I replaced the authenticator app with the builtin authenticator of the battle.net mobile app. It just stays stuck on logging in. Atm it looks like you forcing me to remove my security when the deadline is up… How do I fix this?
I restored the original authenticator (battle.net authenticator) as my two factor authentication and everything was working again. But can’t do that when the deadline is reached.
