Battlenet Gift Cards in UK appear to have vanished?

I used to buy physical cards from bricks and mortar Retail outlets in the UK, until these got withdrawn, when Blizz changed to 60 day game time purchases. However, you could still purchase digital Gift codes from Amazon UK…now those appear to have vanished as well.

Not sure if this is related to the Microsoft deal. If so, is the Blizz store the only method of purchasing game time, until WoW etc. presumably gets added to Microsoft’s Gift Cards at some point in the future?

Hoping a Blue comment can clarify. Thanks in advance.

I believe they’ve been withdrawn from most retailers now.

I have not seen anything official about this. Just comments from other players who have always bought game time this way in the past and are struggling to do so now.

I have only seen game time sold on keyselling sites or via Blizzard themselves.

Yup, Supermarkets etc stopped stocking the physical cards quite awhile back…but the very high speed of the Amazon UK code service, led me to believe they were not working through the unused card stock, returned by bricks and mortar retail outlets.
Although thinking about it logically, there must have been a Blizz digital database held somewhere, of the codes on those physical cards.
