Battle.net Launcher does not start WoW

Hello everyone,
Since the latest update of this week I was not able to launch the world of Warcraft. When I press Play in launcher, nothing happens and Play button appears again.
I went to installation folder in order to run WoW without launcher and the following error appeared:

I have contacted support about this issue and they ridiculously suggested to contact my ISP for connection issues.

PS: I have fully wiped my PC and installed a fresh windows from the beginning because of this issue.

Apparently forum does not allow me to post links. I don’t know how I can show the error.
It says Invalid access to memory location.

Find WTF folder in your installation directory, smth like this:

YOURDRIVE: .… \World of Warcraft\ retail \WTF

and open Config.wtf in notepad. Search this line:

SET RenderScale “1”

if this has value different from 1, change it exactly to 1 and save file. Hope this will help.

Thanks for the advice but as I said I have wiped all my PC and currently the WoW installation is fresh. It does not even have WTF and Interface folders created.

It’s so stupid I cannot even post a link or an image in here. I cannot even show the problem that I am having.

More Info: I can start and play WoW Classic and WoW Cataclysm versions with no problem at all.

This should fix it.
I had same problem.

The update of WoW which arrived around 5-6 Aug fixed this issue.
