I have never had a problem with the launcher but over the last few days I can’t play Retail - It says it’s waiting for an update to classic and TBC but the launcher just seems to hang on the start of an update and not download anything. I tried uninstalling my retail client and now it won’t reinstall. It just hangs on “waiting” I don’t have any add on’s installed, I use windows defender and mallwarebites for antivirus and neither of these has ever conflicted before. My drivers and windows updates are up to date. Any advice would be appreciated.
Edit - have completely uninstalled and deleted every folder I can, including temp files/programedata etc etc, now can not reinstall Batllenet - Have the following error message BLZBNTAGT000008FC.
Edit 2 - Manged to get Battlenet installer to run biut progress gets up to 88% max then goes back down to 22% and starts again from there. Have run speedtests network connection is fine, have made sure all whitelisted also, computer has had no updates so confused how its been working for so many years without an issue and suddenly developed this today.
Solved - It was Malwarebytes - After a recent update it decided it hates wow, turned it off and works like a charm again.
