Battle.net won't connect

Hello, I’m having trouble.

I’ve not been able to connect to my Battle.net for 13 days now. When trying to connect, I get the message ‘We couldn’t log you in to Battle.net. When you are offline friends & chat will be unavailable, and you will have to log in when playing games or accessing account management. Error code: BLZBNTBGS80000011 (2)’

I have this on two devices, since I play on my laptop when I’m away and my computer when home. I’ve tried uninstalling but nothing helps. I strongly suspect this is down to accidentally having both the apps on my laptop and computer open at some point might have caused this. But it’s just a theory.

My network works great. I can see my friends online in-game but they can’t see me.

Would like to know if anyone has encountered this issue before and have a fix.

Thank you.

Have you had any luck with this mate?

Tried loggin in this evening and i am getting the same error. It was working fine the day prior. I only have 1 device i login Battle.net

Even trying to bypass Battle.net and going direct with the WoW App doesnt work

Not had any luck yet :frowning:

the same here

BLZBNTBGS80000011 is usually the result of a communication problem between computer and server - typically an overly zealous security program blocking the connection from being established. If this occurs on multiple devices I would recommend to check which programs of this nature are running on all of them, and to disable/uninstall them one by one.

I also have the same problem currently with this. I have a support ticket opened to try and get some assistance.

I have tried everything online that is suggested.

  • Leaving wifi off for extended period to ensure its not been flooded with data (Blizz suggestion)

-Uninstalling and Reinstalling Battle.net app

  • Optimizing my Internet Connection

  • Renewing and Flushing DNS and doing the Winsock refresh

-Firewal bypasses aswell as turning off firewall on both laptop and router/modem

-Updated all drivers

-All Windows updates are done.

I have also tested other programs such as Steam, Epic Games, Final Fantasy 14, Lost Ark.

I am able to log into Battle.net on my phone using the wifi so it does appear to be just my laptop but i am unable to find anyway of fixing this.

If the issue indeed only occurs on a single device within the network that’d strongly imply a software-based obstacle on said device (most other kinds of issues would affect every device equally). Uninstalling security programs one by one might be the best, and likely quickest, way of finding out which one is at the root of matters here.
