Battle.net won't open or run, just keeps causing errors

The new battle.net is causing major problems for me. When trying to open or launch it, I get:
Runtime error 217 at 500E8338
Exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) "occured in the application at location 0x00000000764146D2
Lots of those two

Then eventually “exception breakpoint has been reached”

I’ve updated drivers, run scans, defragged, F1 scan, uninstalled, wiped ALL folders and reinstalled again.

Same errors.

So unplayable now on my PC. Bring back the old battle.net - this one is literally unusable for me

What operation system do you have? Have you tried updating it?

What about launching battlenet when no other software is running?

-Run a Full scan with Windows Defender.
-Run the following for a command prompt as admin sfc/scannow
-Update your Operating System.
-Update your video drivers.
-Update your runtime libs https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
-Try temporarily disabling any anti-virus/firewall nonsense you my have running.

Hi there!

Firstly, please fully close the Blizzard App, and any Blizzard games, and then uninstall the App as per this guide.

Next, please delete all the Blizzard App files, some of which may be left over after uninstallation, by following this guide.

Finally, please download and install the App again via this link.
