Hello World of Warcraft community and warlocks around the world, I hope you are well.
Here is my painful latest experience, one that i never had before :
So i wanted to try our newest generation of warlocks, which i am really impressed of. the game looks amazing, the visuals are insane and sometimes diabolical ( if you play soul harvester). i was enjoying this game for 5 to 6 days wen all of a sudden, i cannot log into game anymore. i had no windows/computer updates before this happening, wen i try to log in, im stuck at “Logging into game server/Retrieving character list” step.
Ok, mistakes happens, so ive made a ticket to ask for some guidance in order to fix my problem. keep in mind this was happening for over a week ago. So ive been advised some troubleshooting stept which i took it very seriously as it follows :
-i did a game update
-scan and repair the game
-reset in game options
-deleting Chache,data whatever folders that might be a corupted
-deleted all my addons
-i even deleted everything linked to World of Warcraft including the game and the app it self, reinstall those, but nothing changed
ok i went a little further:
-reset my network connections
-fushed dns thingy
-updated my computer like 8 times already
-disabled my anti virus,firewall
-ive also made those special settings in firewall for Battlenet app and World of Warcraft so i can acces them even if firewall won t let me.
-i switched from wifi connection to ethernet cable, but still, nothing changed, i m still stuck at those 2 annoying steps
-i checked pretty much all the possible solutions i found on web regarding this so called problem but still nothing changed.
Last night ive installed a fresh copy of windows thinking this has to be it, but sadly no, everything was in vane.
what should i do now, buy a new apartment, move in a different city ?
Does anybody have an advice for me please, what should i do, how can i fix this annoying problem, because at this point i think the problem is from blizzard and not from me. thank you
