Thankfully no one is forced to purchase this. If it means the profits go into developing and keeping this game alive idc. Trading post kinda makes up for these occasional store cosmetics and mounts, but please don’t ever neglect in-game mounts and cosmetics for this.

maybe something like a post where you trade with ingame currency you get by playing the game

Thankfully, the game has many years of “free” transmog from past and more equatable times.
There might have been an opportunity to stop these store shop practices years ago when the first store mounts appeared but that time has passed.
What’s up with those Pixie Wings, at least give us Lana’thel’s actual Wings, which would have justified the price. It’s not like she has some unique Boss Only Model. She’s literally a Female Blood Elf in Fancy Transmog.
