So fun outgearing people and still them doing over 200k DPS more than BM.
There is absolutely no way BM is going to stay this bad.
The combination of no haste on any gear, which makes the class feels like vomit to play, and just not being able to pull any decent numbers is hilarious. I’m demanding hotfixes ASAP, and I’m not talking 5% damage buffs here and there.
It’s pretty atrocious for AOE at least yeah, though I would be surprised if its not buffed in one of tunings that are bound to happen soon when the content available starts to matter more.
Not 80 yet but i can imagine how bad that must felt holy its alrdy slow, how many sec do you need too apply explosive shot into black arrow use your killshot for serpent sting, try too get up your barbshots and wave inbetween killcommands too not cap charges
There is no way this work with low haste, not eaven consider too aoe and keep your dire frenzy up
It doesn’t really get better.
AoE feels incredibly bad and you can’t keep up with other classes. Even the tanks do more dmg than you at some points. ST is okayish, but still bad compared to every other class.
Really hope the new set gives us a push or blizzard buffs bm^^’
The other classes are good as well and looking how bad Bm is now is like an F tier …

Hunter 500-600k overall dps
Warrior 1,2 mill dps .
At the end any class-spec have insane aoe Skills while Bm hunter is multishoot~ that do pathetic dmg and because of the triger that pet do aoe with melee/kill command .
Rather to say all classes have Top quality skills with damage on demand and Bm is …ok spam multishoot and kill command
Honestly I’m really disappointed with how BM feels right now. The lack of haste in particular feels horrible, it’s like trying to do my rotation through treacle, and by the time I finally get everything set up the packs are dead and now I have to start all over again. Explosive shot feels very out of place, and it’s adding friction in the opening (which wouldn’t be so bad if the Haste Issue wasn’t a thing right now). BM hunter felt so good to play before TWW, and now suddenly it’s almost painful. Maintaining Frenzy is horrible because, again, with so little haste it’s unnecessarily difficult to react to it dropping off - not because you’re not paying attention, but because the GCD takes so long that if you accidentally hit a button a few seconds before it drops, it punishes you by making you lose your stacks.
Not to mention that pets are struggling in ways they never did before; my pets seem to have a hard time holding threat in AoE (and then when Explosive Shot goes off it makes it worse) and they’re so squishy compared to how they were before launch.
Yeah, what’s going on blizz sure the low haste problem will solve itself overtime with gear to make the rotation more smooth.
But our DPS is absolute garbageo especially in AOE getting beat by tanks, and it feels like our AOE takes 3-4 business days to set up.
And even after all that we can’t even compete with tanks let alone any of the other DPS our single target is okay when things line up just right, but it sure would be nice if it was consistant
changing explosive shot would help a lot, eighter it should be an aoe dot, that pulsate dmg over time, or it should be instantly exploade on impact whit no real cd at all where you would rotate something like this for aoe, explosive shot, multishot, explosive shot instead as it is now.
Nah BM AOE is 100% ez too fix, the beast cleave talent let your killcommand cleave at 80%effective but doesnt count how hard the main killcommand hit the prime target, so atm it hit like awet noodle
A: you pump the number up or better you let the cleave scale from the main targets killcommand with all modifier from basilisk color etc
and then when the rest of the group focus targets your target with all your debuffs for collar now its dead and you just lost 30-40% of your damage. because you need to get all your debuffs up and running on a new target, no thank you
I feel like swapping the positioning for the Venom’s Bite and Explosive Venom in the trees could be really helpful for the AOE situation - as it is right now, Venom’s Bite is only really useful on bosses as by the time you can kill shot most ads they go down in a few seconds and it means you don’t really get much benefit from the serpent’s sting dot in AOE. The multi-dotting combined with Basilisk collar would help boost up damage, though it still wouldn’t fix the fact that right now our AOE opening rotation takes a long time to get going and overall feels quite clunky compared to pre-TWW.
