Argument 1
Rexar was melee and he was Beast Master
Argument 2
BM currently design is toxic in PVP and would be fixed a lot if they was made into PVP
Argument 3
Animal become leader of the pack by often being physically stronger. so having them Melee make sense that they are the alpha as oppose to shooting the animal with a gun?
Argument 4
A survival expert would focus on guns, bows and crossbows, traps, bombs and staying away from a target that is trying to kill them. It’s not in the best interest of a person attempting to survive to get into melee combat whilst throwing bombs?
Tyrande used a bow and had a Starfall ablity. Does it mean priests should be shooting arrows and have Starfall?
Not sure what your words mean, but if you’re concerned about BM arena dominance, it is temporary.
Hunter is master of all his / her pets not because he or she is physically stronger, but because he / she feeds, trains and cares for his / her pets, this how master / pet relations work in essence. “Leader of the pack” relation is secondary and not even mandatory.
I am all in favor of remaking Survival as a range spec, but if there are enough players who like it the melee way, this is something that should be taken into consideration.
I totally agree. Big mistake by blizz. A spec that focuses on traps, bombs and poisons should definitely be ranged. And melee BM should have an option like frost dk, dw and 2h.
Also, MM should be a petless spec, without the option to play with a pet. The focus should be more on positioning and mobility, less on traps. A long-range glass cannon spec.
One of the least, if not the least popular spec. Sometimes it has some representation when it is decent (like now) or when the other two are very bad, but it is still one of the least represented. Clunky, overbloated with buttons (especially in pvp) and complex in an unfun way. Imo an undefined spec that does not know what it wants to be and achieve. Like some experimental spec that was abandoned halfway through testing.
