Beginner Guide to being Good Person In dungeon

I play a bear druid. most tank so only speak for ferals when i say this

  1. if you don’t use innervate on your healer when they need it inbetween pulls. you are awful tank.
  2. if dont use tranquility after massive pull and everything is everyone survived it but everyone has 50% less hp do the healer a solid and use this have them save mp so focus on next pull
  3. prepare use of rebirth if your druid doesn’t have minor glyph for rebirth the one make sit cost no reagant then it really shows your inexperience. however what shows pros tank druids vs noob ability to property use it in battle
  4. pay attention to the healers MP Pool. dont tunnel vision
back to being a great person to party with.

when you do dungeons you often find, mana potions and mana drinks. if your class doesn’t have any use of them. please let healers have them. money or gold wise they dont normally sell for much. and healers thank you for it

Please understand when I say this . by no means should you pull. its not cause of ego anything like that. you see in this game tanks need that threat. or otherwise they can’t what your doing is being completely rude to your tank. not letting them do there job

if tank doesn’t get threat they lose rage, mana what well paladins case they need take damage then be healed gain mana back. for druid if they don’t dodge attacks they don’t get rage. then they cant tank.

if keep doing this alot tanks just not want party with you cause your trolling.
Tanks

alot glyphs on paladin is really strong one of them is divinity some can agrue that 20 mins is long time. but when you do use it you pretty much gain 100% of mp by lay of hands on someone while also giving them alot mp

situations where you give a healer 100% of there mp back in long fight but to be fair like said this is situational

how can tell you have really good paladin of any type rather holy/prot/ret -

Professional Paladin makes propar use of there “Hand Abilities” Lay of Hands, Hand of Recking, Rightious Defense. Hand of Sacrifice, Hand of Salvation (Hand of Freedom can also be consitered but thats mostly pvp but has some uses in pve too)

if dont use single one of these then your . also you may not be a healer. that may not be your roll. nothing stops you tossing out lay of hands from time time. or tossing hand of protection. on your moonkin cause aoe damage is bit bonkers

DPS tips -

AoE Damage is tricky if go in hard right way. if you pull threat off tank. then you messed up. do keep in mind not all tanks are paladins and dks. when do this on a bear or warrior . you may find yourself tanking. if ever partied with a trigger happy boomkin you see why

threat can be hard to understand as beginner. first and foremost -damage- damage contributes to mass amount of threat if that damage has additional effects such as lower attack speed by 20% then this causes massive amount of threat.

  • Healing also causes massive amount of threat specially if its aoe like tranquilty however no druid alive will pop tranquilty at first few seconds of a fight unless have a death wish-

warlocks can get past this by using soul shatter. unfortunity boomkins cant specially with high crit rate keep that in mind. mages blizzard can be argued not as bad as hurricane+ starfall

However All Caster Spells Have threat reducing Talents if you do not take these your just asking to be killed

Stopped reading there, for me as soon as I see a bear tank, I usually think newb, and if they mess up the first pull I will leave and take the debuff.

Especially if they are in boosted gear.

It takes more to master a bear druid then any other tank. outside of warrior

Then most of the ones I have played with haven’t mastered it.

bears have feel out there gear. have two different sets armor pen set and threat generating set. when doing dungeons and doing raids

when already have 6% reductiong being crited really only need 2% more and crit immuned. however defense is last thing bears should focus on going into wotlk. damage, armor, hp making use of massive muiplayiers . feeling out what is right damage set for you. what make sure that do deal enough damage to keep threat. while being tanky as hell

cause swipe only real aoe ability is based on attack power. and when bear crits they heal themselfs

pulling off a maul + swipe need big hefty pull while your tapping you your targets looking at each individual threat numbers on addon like threatclassic2 or berserk + mangle ) mangle still causes buttload of threat you can use along side maul if your rage capped

Defensive cooldowns should always be popped. barkskin always poped… berserk can be saved remove fear if know monsters cast fear.

keeping thorns and wild up always on yourself and wild on your party. if your party has to ask you for wild. you messed up

Gl with going to pull with zero rage after innervate.
There is nothing bad to get heal drink, he plays afk anyway

like bears have rage problems moment you pull . gain like 80% rage refusing to use innervate makes you lazy and bad as a druid feral. specially when dont lose that much rage when take some restore talents - fervor

if think bears have issues rage issues inbetween pulls. your lazy and your bad. if to lazy offer any team support then playing druid isn’t for you better off playing warrior then druid

So this is a guide to being a good person but is in actuality just a bunch of putting people down instead, especially if they disagree with you on something.

Yup, good ol’ wholesome Classic community right there :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

I have already pointed that you got no clue about the game…
I dont know how should i speak, let me try one more time.
As a tank u need defense cap, which is 540=5,6%
Your talent Surival of the fittest gives 6%. Let’s sum 6%-5,6%=0,4%
Focus! By choosing 3/3 in survival of the fittest you’re already def capped, dont need to worry, sadge that u did not read what i wrote in last topic

If you’re an overgeared tank and you only pull 2-3 mobs at a time, im pulling extra for you, you’re welcome enjoy the faster run

/signed, a dps

Lol, no. Just because a player doesn’t do one incredibly specific thing doesn’t make them an awful tank. It’s a nice QoL thing to do but not a deal-breaker.
