Thought I’d level a druid as Resto since I’ve never really bothered much with healing.
I’m just now level 35 and so far I’ve encountered:
-
Tanks with no gear that want to do Big Man Pulls but cannot find their taunt button when my Sunfire dot pulls aggro.

DPSers that are doing less damage than the tank and/or the healer but are the first to start mouthing off in the chat while they stand in the fire.
-
DPSers that queue as tank and then proceed to dual wield two sticks for the whole dungeon.
I’m sure there is more of this stuff to come as time goes on.
Generally speaking, when other people’s mistakes become insurmountable, you are typically the first one to get the blame.
Frankly, I’m surprised that there are even any people willing to heal at all at max level. They certainly have my respect now that I have gotten a taste of it myself. ^^

Being a healer in WoW is like being a medical worker during the coronavirus era.
All the work, all the risk, might even die yourself, just to save other people from dying.
When people do dumb things and make dumb choices they expect you to save them so that they can continue their lives without even noticing or having any consideration for anyone else but their own lives.

well healer really is the hardest role, you have to correct mistakes from DPS, from a tank and also your mistakes

One thing I learned raiding is that you don’t die as a healer to save a dps, because you’re down a healer and they won’t learn from their mistake.
On-topic idk, I just like healing and tanking at times so I gladly do the role. Dps seems really boring to me .

that is pretty normal in low lvl dungeons… I don’t know why, but it seems like healers are casting faster or they scale better than dps at lower levels…
as far as I can remember, I have almost always done more damage than the dps in low lvl dungeons as a holy priest, as for why tanks are doing more damage: they are the first who are hitting the enemies and the enemies do not live for a very long time… so some dps do not have enough time to build up some damage
while also having to dps (since nowdays a good healer is measured by being able to do dps) and dispell…

The best thing is the dispel drama, when a dps is whining for 5 mins because my Holy priest did not dispel POISON in ToS and he could not dps trash…
The other typical dps that cannon understand that dispel has a cd and DEMANDS you to waste a 3min cd called revival because otherwise he will be outdpsed ?

But yeah, healer is petting everyone and not making it an issue.

One of the dps was telling me to use hero every boss in my KR run I did the other day. Me, a priest. Yeah, because I have heroism.

nah not really, im doing more healing now than ive ever done.
but … in agreement to your statement, when im healing I always say whos to blame for a wipe. that was dps not interrupting or dps standing in fire etc etc, that was tank for not removing his debuff or not kiting boss correctly etc etc.
You have to say, if youre correct of course, or you will get blamed for everything.
so you are correct, but you are not dealing with it as you should.
Stand up for yourself and blame the correct people for failing, even if its you.
Think it was the same guy that asked my priest to dispel poison…

Well, ironically you actually also show why it can be by far the easiest job. If your tank has two brain cells and the dps can interrupt and avoid stuff - then the healer just has to heal the non-avoidable damage and other than that just dps.

Depends on your group. Healers carrying a group means the content they’re doing is easy for them.
Or being pestered for a battle rez, and hurling abuse at you when you don’t (while playing as a Priest).

Engineers can do combat res with only downside being very limited in range
And needing the profession for it, on a 4 second cast time.

It is since 8.3 and imbeciles who come in dungeons with 74516 corruption, losing 60% of their health by standing in their own filth that I really started to lose my mind as a healer.
