It happens all the time. You only need to do a PF heroic for the calling or something. I have to press full time “no”. I am not kicking someone for butt-pulling an extra plagueborer or a tentacle. Had to do it yesterday again.
That happend to me yestoday they said don’t trash talk the alliance since i’m preparing an alt for going horde.
You can sense they will kick you after seconds you enter in. If they are chatting off topic with each other on instance chat rather then their ‘party’ chat, if they are doing things normally they get kicked on full random lfr group like pulling everything by laughing and the others don’t care, whatever you do, how good you play, one way or another you will be get kicked. For example the premades from italian servers, especially Pozzo Del Eternita doing this very often. During BfA, I was tanking M+ 10-14 keys by timing them. I was queue for augment runes and for some gold to buy pot/potion. More than 10 times I get kicked by premades without any warning, zero chatting with me, they were keep pulling everything in Freehold on the way to the first and second boss, I said nothing and didn’t even reacted their farce, just aggroed everything they pull, succesfuly survived in a condition ‘their’ healer on dd spec just walking around dealing less dmg then a tank on lfr and in the end when we are at last boss %40 healty they simply kicked me.
Everyone talks about russians in this game. But have seen zero difference on russians by comparing them rest of community. But this italians from Pozzo Del Eternita are real cancer of this community. I never accept them to my premade groups and immediately quit if one of them are in.
In conclusion, when I meet with a premade and/or half premade group on lfr by they giving signs to kick people for fun, I go up to first boss and immediately leaving the group because in such situation, I have no clue ‘when’ (%40 hp at last boss) and ‘why’ (Just for fun. “How dare you to take this fun from them ” ) they will kick me.
see above.
If you cant be bothered reading the OP then dont reply to their thread.
This issue is directly caused, and confirmed by others, as intentional kicking utilising premade grouping. That might be what you call social but for sane people, its just griefing.
Well I agree, that’s not a reason to kick somebody, but at the same time, that’s the opposite of “no reason”. There’s a reason why said votekick was initiated.
I’ve also seen votekicks initiated for silly reasons, but usually they just get declined very quickly. I’ve never witnessed the “Everybody just presses yes” mentality that people on the forums are describing.
It is quite hard to see how many times people actually got kicked. But on the amount i have to press “no” i definitely have to assume there will be kicks going through for these kinds of nonsense reasons.
It’s always hard to argue with empirical evidence. I’d guess it’s about one in 10 dungeons where I see a votekick get initiated at all and very few of them going through, unless they’re for a valid reason.
I rarely see votekicks initiated and even more rare is a votekick that gets initiated for “no reason”. Other people say they see votekicks initiated in a lot of runs. I mean I do play on german realms so perhaps there’s a lot more votekicks on english speaking realms that get initiated, which I kind of doubt, but at the end, it’s just empirical evidence, which there’s genuinely no point in talking about.
the thing is if vote kick was such a good thing it would had made its way in mythic plus . which is far more serious content then normal and heroic dungeons .
I’m not sure if you’re trolling. Are you? Because if you are, it’s a pretty good one.
I’ve played this game since end of legion almost daily and I’ve never experienced getting kicked just sporadically because they can, and I’ve pugged most of my years.
Maybe in total I’ve been kicked 10 times max and everytime it was my own fault, whether or not it was justified to kick me for taunting as a new player and not knowing a dps shouldn’t taunt or accidently pulling by tab targetting. Regardless there was always a reason, so I find it hard to believe when people say they got kicked for no reason and just because they can and are a pre-made.
I read and replied but this silly notion that people shouldn’t do content together is a farce in an MMO. People should totally play with others and queue together. Or go solo if they prefer.
There are a small number of people out there who think it’s fun to mistreat others ‘for lolz’. Fortunately it’s a very small number, but they do weigh heavily on people’s perceptions of the community.
My one experience of actual bullying from a pug group was a key I joined where the rest of the group were obviously friends. They found it hilarious when the hunter misdirected mobs to me (dps) instead of the tank, and when I died, told me I was useless, stupid and ‘l2p’. I even got more insults in whispers after I left the group. (Yes, I reported them for bullying.)
I’m not saying this to fish for sympathy (I’m also a long time player, and shrugged it off as an annoying waste of time), but to point out that things like this do happen, even if they haven’t happened to you.
You may have right. I play a lot of dgs and just havent meet them. I levelled alot and have like 200 chars on different accounts.
There are always to sides of the story and even though you get kicked by unknowned reasons i personaly think the vote system would get worse since players could troll alot more without getting removed or just unpunished join a new group and troll without punish. Either way, I think current systems are fine, and like everything else, you meet People sometimes you never hope to meet again.
I agree. I don’t think there’s much, if anything, they could do to improve the current system. Whatever they did, the few who want to abuse it would find a way.
Its a shame you got kicked but do not blame the whole community when there are very good people in it.
How do you suggest a group of 3 or 4 friends that can not fill a group, do the content they paye for then in an mmo ?
I’ve had the most fun when levelling with friends, it makes the grind more bearable.
u forget that a tru wow player has no friends
becourse they just play wow all day long have no time for their friends.
It’s very simple, if Blizzard would enforce their rules in regards to Griefing then if someone vote kicks for no legitimate reason then Blizzard should take action against them just as it happens in FFXIV. Sure makes people think twice about using it incorrectly instead of consistently.
They should do the same for people trying to post logs and shame people in groups too since it’s used as a tool of harassment, but they won’t because most of Blizzards words are bark with no bite.
