Being removed for no reason!

ok this community have a huge issue with the kick system in instance’s, this is not the first time i was removed from group without even typing one letter in chat or ninja pulling or under preforming since i know the game/expansion pretty well, was simply removed because of a group being premade and they think it is funny to remove players and getting them locked out for 30 mins just because they can!! blizzard you should really do something about that it is getting boring and annoying!

Finally got an upgrade for the headpiece? ^^

Ooohh errr missus

You can usually smell these types from a mile away. I got into a group like recently when I was on my leveling shaman. Zoned into a dungeon in progress to replace the dps they presumably already kicked for lulz. I just killed one boss and bailed immediately.

I actually used to avoid island expeditions because of this, since you only need two people to troll there I figured I’m better off waiting for when they become soloable

there will be someone stating that majority decided so and you got kicked for a “reason”. Most of the times this reason is basically 1 troll starting a poll and kicking other players for her/his own pleasure. Blizzard must change this, but they’re busy with new store mogs and erazing content, so we won’t see it any time soon

premades, should be banned from lfg.

As a side note, it might be something to do with your guild name. Generally best to avoid names identifying your country or possible job, you never know what peoples history or pain suffered. Just a thought.

The thing they have to do is stop giving it a punishment if you get kicked.

Getting kicked is one thing, not being able to queue because you got kicked is another.

and if you dont punish for being kicked then people will go out of their way to get kicked, saying whatever they like and then join another and do it again, ad infinitum.
Cant have it both ways, and the current way is the best of em

Yes , his guild name is just representing very well Acti-Blizz treatment to woman.

men and woman were the abusers and victims.
It was just a thought as to why he got kicked

Funny that I have never been removed in my 10 years playing, only when I say something stupid.

Yea. Remember when you would do stuff with your g or friends as 5 , or 10 or 25 peps . Remember when people would come to try this game . Remember when you would discover smt in the game and not being expected to know everything before you even start it .

FFXIV to the best of my knowledge doesn’t give you immediate punishment, but if you get kicked 3 times in the same day, you’ll get punished. It allows some leeway.

You can report people for grieving. It’s not the system’s fault, trolls will always find a way to ruin someone’s game, you just report them in hopes they get banned.

That said it’s not always easy to prove they’re doing it intentionally unless they taunt you about it or something like that.

Except there are tools for reporting players who are actively ruining your game.

Kicking people in LFG is fine, sometimes you just dont get along with someone, but getting punished for not getting along with others is a big difference vs getting punished for actively ruining the game for others.

Same. No chat. No mis-pulls, etc. No one having issues then just wham!
I’ve had it happen, sometimes back to back. Only during time walking, but specifically later at night, not during the day or early evening. My main tank friend said its a premade strat.

When i queued with him after 3 kicks, I encountered no more kicking out of the blue and friend said he seen no kick prompts.

Lesson of the day, try to avoid the 4 person pre-mades, they like to kick the fifth wheel once they get into the dungeon.

How dare people be social and level with their friends in an MMO! Outrageous behaviour!

The person being removed is always the innocent party when they come to complain on the forums

You can get unlucky but I’ve very rarely been kicked while levelling. Unfortunately the kick system is needed. Before we were able to remove people you’d be stuck with AFKers and you couldn’t do anything, often forcing you with no option but to leave and get the deserter buff. It also means you aren’t stuck with toxic individuals and can remove them.

Of course not every vote will be fair. If you’ve killed one boss it usually reduced the deserter to 15 minutes and sometimes you can even get away with no deserter depending on how long the dungeon took at that point.

They’ve tried to improve things so that the option to vote no is the first one available. You have to wait for the actual yes vote to become active. This means those that just want to get rid of the pesky box in their face just click no to be quick.

There is an internal cooldown system on kicks as well so that the same person can’t endlessly kick other players.

No system will be perfect but having no kick system at all is definitely worse.

I’d go even further and say that the current system is the best one we’ve had and probably pretty close to being as good as it can be.

Sure, it can still be abused, but anything can, if people go in with malicious intent.

Remember when we couldn’t kick people while infight so toxic people were just chainpulling or staying infight with critters, etc.?

The system we have isn’t perfect, but it only gives deserter when people get kicked before the first boss, so that’s something that happens somewhat rarely. You’ll still have the 15 minute cooldown that starts when entering a dungeon, but it doesn’t refresh on getting kicked.

It also needs 3 people to press yes, so while groups can obviously kick anybody they want to kick, at the same time, what’s the purpose of kicking people out of your dungeon, who “did nothing wrong”? To intentionally slow down the dungeon clearing process?

Whenever one of those threads pops up, it’s always a person getting kicked over and over for “no reason” with no insight on the other side of the coin.

I do believe that occasionally, people get kicked for no valid reason. But from personal experience, I can safely say that since BFA, I’ve not even seen a votekick get initiated in a LFG dungeon. And hell, I’ve had this one windwalker monk in my group while leveling who did nothing but press crackling jade lightning on mobs and even they didn’t get kicked.

Also, I understand it’s not peoples job to come up with improvements, but I’ve yet to see a recommendation for something that would actually improve the LFD experience, regarding the votekick system.
