Being thick, how do I transmog a new nelf?

I’m setting up a new night elf and want to transmog her heirlooms, as far as I can see there is no transmog in darnassus (never thought to look before) and it seems you have to be level 10 to escape (the portals are all level 10) so I’m trapped on teldrassil.

Aside from the mount (my other half doesn’t have it) or mage portals (he might be able to port me out) is there any other way I can escape before level 10? A mage in the warlock looking heirlooms looks daft!

Get the toy for all (not every but a lot) the flightpoints in a continent and use the Flight mannie to fly somewhere. They cost 10,000g but are a toy so can be used by any character you create. You can buy it on your main.

In the time you’ve spent looking for a way to do this and waiting for an answer, you could have just levelled to 10 and gone to SW.

Being trapped until you hit level 10 must be something new no?

I’ve always been able to “escape” Teldrassil and head over to SW
Or have I been dreaming again perhaps?

Those toys are great for leveling alts if you don’t want to run around and explore yourself.

I know, and if I wasn’t saving her for the end of the week that’s what I would have done. My sub runs out in a few days and I’m pc less for a week next week. I refuse to sub and lose a week so I’m just pootling on a few new characters (below 20) on the days between my sub running out and being pc less.

I made a troll and got her to orgrimmar and transmogged with no problem. It just seems to be teldrassil I’m trapped on, and no other night elves, so I didn’t realise there was no transmogger!

Edit - won’t let me post another reply, but thanks so much for reminding me I have those flight path toys. I’ll send her on a trip to stornwind later!

edit 2 - Worked like a charm and no extra xp thanks to the flight path toys, she’s currently on a flightpath from menethil to stormwind and has 0 xp so far!
