Farstriders are also melee fighters!
Hey, at least they weren’t Blood Knights!
So! After two hard days on patrol in the Ghostlands with the Thalassian Skyguard and the Dawn Patrol (including a daring rescue mission of an Elven noble in the Plaguelands and a battle against Scourge remnants in that multiguild event) we are back in Silvermoon City to regroup, restock, and set down to continue sharpening our skills.
Also last night’s Ranger BBQ party was a blast! Who knew Springleaf is such a good cook! Now the Ravens have two Rangers with high skill in Cooking (Cassaldria is the other one)!
Oh, right, still recruiting too!
The night was quiet and the fire was burning hot as the young looking woman sat in her chair, reading her book. All the children were all fast asleep and well fed for the night but she kept a sad face and an worrying look in her eyes, she did not know what to do next. She did not hear from him for some time now, what might have happened. She kept on reading for hours troubling herself but footsteps she could hear from outside, not in a hurry but not slacking either. She knew instantly who it was and stood up from her chair, her eyes flickering towards the entrance.
The tall Ranger entered the orphanage, all clad in green. His outfit was dirty with mud and blood and his eyes were tired, fatigued from a grueling battle.
She looked up at him, the towering Ranger and muttered, her voice like a song
“Weh’daras.”
The grizzled Ranger now had another trophy to show, a deeply burned face and palms to match, he was in pain. The woman quickly guided him to the chair and began to treat him as best she can, hot water and a kettle of tea.
"Tell me, Weh’daras. What happened? " *She uttered, her voice seemed to be breaking as she kept cleaning the wound. *
He was tired, beaten up and with no real will to keep on going but he did offer her something in return for her help. A heavy bag filled with riches and gold.
“Here my dear… The kids need this more than I do, eh?” She took the bag and looked at him deep, she was sad but glad he was still alive
"Don’t do this to us once again!
Took part in the two day event the start of this week aswell as the little party following. A very enjoyable lot to roleplay with and if you’re intrested in Farstrider focused RP I’d recommend giving them a try!
I know old ranger uniform is all void-touched and all. But please take me back, the Alliance are meanies
Come! Lay down your weapons! It is not too late for my mercy…
Actually, probably far too late for Aery’s mercy. But that’s what alts are for. Come, rediscover your roots, Teldrín!
Peekaboo!
With an influx of fresh meat- I mean, erm, recruits things have been busy busy busy! That’s no excuse however to let this thread sink to the bottomless pit of the abyss we all call “the forums”.
So up you go! UP I SAY! UP!
We only just got back from a perilous patrol into the Ghostlands and Aery’s already filled the calendar with:
- training
- the Conclave
- equipping and testing the new fresh meat
- advanced training
- a dangerous mission near the end of the week
- did I mention additional training?
When will you let these exhausted elves catch a break, woman!
Nope!
I will be looking to get in touch, perhaps even tonight. - If there is room for scouting types that prefer to use melee / stealth than archery.
I saw them in Silvermoon recently. They’re very very cool.
Thanks Coldshade but I’m afraid we’re gonna be a bunch of very very dead elves soon.
Just look what’s happening right now.

Yeah that’s a lit raid marker right there props to you
Okay, now I’m worried… you better make it out of here alive!
We’re trying!
The whole team except two failing their check to resist a Banshee-like wail attack, getting stunned. Then the last two getting down to own the encounter.
Tomorrow the conclusion… probably. The secret of the Maiden of the River uncovered! Will the Rangers survive, or get nommed by whatever is lurking in the murky waters…
Hey Aery, can we take out some gold bets on the number and severity of injuries we’ll sustain?
We are not taking bets on who gets maimed. You all know I’ll rig it to win…
Besides, if you all play smart and pay attention to detail you might resolve it without drawing blades or nocking a single arrow.
That would be boring. Everyone knows shooting arrows feels very satisfying.
