Today marks our mid way point of the campaign of the Legions Legacy and the Skyguard are having so much fun, itâs been such a joy to see all the guilds come together to make more RP.
The Skyguard have returned from the Legions Legacy Campaign, successfully having aided in thwarting the opportunists of the Broken Shore. Battered and wounded, the Skyguard retreat to their base of operations only to be given their rota for working in the aviary the next week. No rest for the fliers!
Noviah went down the path from her home on a sunny afternoon, wearing her mucking out gear, fresh white shirt, tabard loosely on, tan boots and black trousers, arriving to Skypeak with a smile and a wave to her colleagues, she quickly ascended into the higher reaches with two buckets of feeding pouches. Itâs a high climb all the way to the top of the building, but eventually sheâd reach the aviary where the bonded dragonhawks belong. This job proved easier then past experiences, because quite recently their unbonded dragonhawks left for a grove nearby, and so she only had to provide the lunches to the slightly more orderly hawks.
That said, she still bowed to everyone, went in big circles around others, and neatly put down the feed for each individual, a mix of lynx and salmon meat, aswell as kibble prepared to keep them healthy and strong. The smell of food haunted her however, because the moment she left the bonded spire, a horde of hatchlings chased her all the way down to the rookery where she had to dart to the side, and then baseball slide herself out and close the door in a rush, several bits of her shirt nipped and a stolen belt.
Hi guyâs I posted on my Worgan that I am looking for a new guild to join as I have returned after a long break and your concept looks interesting. What is the best way to contact you guys about joining?
Send me a letter in game if you canât catch me or one of my officers online (LavellĂĄn/AshlĂŠaf) and we can correspond about any questions you have etc and talk about an interview date if you do find yourself interested!
Giving a bump to our favourite dragonhawk riders! Always lovely to do events and campaigns with these peeps (they are all pretty cool ooc too)
The Skyguard are currently preparing to get their teeth back into some of our own personal storylines, including our ongoing tales regarding the Divine Crusade, of which several guilds are working on as well. We are very excited for the upcoming Feloâalah festival as well as working towards a Skyguard Campaign!
Congratulations to our Skyguard and Co raiding team who have taken down the Jailor normal and now move up onto heroic!
The Skyguard just concluded hosting the Ashen Bulwarks meeting and training! We started the weekend with an assault course and archery contest followed by campfire stories. One which Iâm told lasted over an hour. Looking at you Yorah. Then moved into today with a giant war game of capture the flag. It was a lot of fun to see so many guilds coming together and playing a little fun war game! Definitely will look at hosting more in the future.
Thank you so much for hosting it. Had a good time as always.
GO TEAM YELLOW!
Continuing to love my part in the Skyguard.
My Hawkrider Enjae has taken a dour turn as of late; trauma from a few failures on his part beginning to add up to make him incredibly vicious to the enemies of the Skyguard - or at least the ones he thinks are targeting innocent men, women and beasts anyway.
Looking forward to where this all goes and the stories that the officers have planned for us going forwardsâŚ
Congratulations to Illuriel for her bonding with Telâanor!
âThe Second Leap of Faithâ
In the warmth of the Eversongs evening, a blur darts out from the rookery and up toward the very top of Skypeak, an unharnessed dragonhawk, Paskel and his passenger Leynwa. The pair settle down on the roof as the tinker slips off the hawkâs back and meets the roofing with a hefty thud.
âRight, so Iâm going to go over everything once more before we do this, so this may take a little while before Iâm ready, okay?â Sheâd turn to Paskel who settles to rest his chin down onto the slate, huffing.
Leynwaâs gaze narrows, overlooking the slumped hawk. âDonât you get all funny now, It wonât take long.â She begins checking over each piece of her equipment, pulsing arcane through the various parts of her combat suit with each component reacting in turn, plates shifting to form fins before sitting flush again, each joint whirring softly with every movement.
âJust because I took the first leap without you, gives you no reason to act like that, afterall, I wasnât exactly going to open up to him with a hefty scaled slobbery beast looming overhead.â
Paskel raises his head and just stares at Leynwa for a moment, snorting. Sheâd meet his stare with her own, âAm I wrong?â
Paskel flaps his maw, wiggling his head as if to mimic her, snorting once more before setting his head back down onto the slate, chittering a soft laugh.
Leynwa continues checking over the various parts of the suit, clicking, whirring and hissing, sounding out as the process moves between components.
âYou know, Iâve no idea if I should have told him what I did, but everyone suggested it was the best thing to do, even if it gives me a better idea, you know?â Paskel chitters, shaking his head lazily, disinterested and purely being polite to his sibling. He looks at her, chirping out as if to say âOh, please go on.â
She continues âAnd what about Zayâaedis making him comment, not good enough was it?â
Leynwa pauses again, staring out over the forest, overcome by a shudder. âLetâs try to forget Azlinnielâs words, I donât think Iâll ever be a position for kids, what about you?â
Paskel shakes his head a very certain no, giving a displeased look at the thought.
Sheâd continue making her checks, focussing on the legs at this point, âRexxar was awfully considerate the other evening, as clueless as he was of my meaning.â Leynwa smiles warmly, âItâs always a nice reminder to see how much the others care.â Paskel nods, slithering his way over to her chirping softly, only to then playfully slap his tongue across her face before pulling away.
Leynwa wipes her face clean, buffing the slobber off of her glasses, sarcastically barking out âThanks you slobbery goof, I love you too.â
Paskel moves to the edge of the roof, picking up on Leynwaâs near readiness, watching her make the last few checks before she steps over to join him. âOh boy, t-this will, w-well itâs h-higher than it looked.â
Paskel sticks his tongue out at her before pushing himself off the roof, closing his eyes as he begins to fall, wings tight as he picks up speed toward the rapidly approaching ground below. In a relaxed manner, Paskel unfurls his wings and pulls up to begin soaring up into the canopy of the trees, bellowing out a chirping laugh as he goes.
Leynwa watches him closely before taking in a very deep breath and closing her eyes. âAlright, you can do this, have faith in your work like always and donât become the bucket.â She leans forwards pushing herself off and fights the urge to panic as gravity takes hold.
Leynwa shudders in excitement as the rushing of wind passes over her face, roaring past her ears and across her form, she opens her eyes, flinching at first as she plummets toward the ground. Sheâd follow on with Paskels example and bring her arms and legs out, a membrane being drawn out from the central part of the suit catching the surging air and slowing her suddenly as she begins to pull up and level out, her jaw firmly clenched, well aware that this is the potential point of failure.
The three membranes fully catch the wind and carry Leynwa forward, an adrenaline fueled manic laughter sounding out as she experiences the sensations of unpowered flight. Paskel falls back to match her pace, keeping a watchful eye on her fully aware that she could plummet if she wasnât careful, making sure he was in a position to catch her.
Leynwa adjusts her positioning to be above Paskel, manipulating the fins and control surfaces of the suit very gingerly to gauge how she shifts and moves with each minor adjustment, noting that each action seems to slow her more and more to the point that she drops down softly to rest upon Paskelâs back. He keeps his wings out firmly, shifting his tail to start gliding back down toward the ground where he lands, belly sliding along the grass until he comes to a halt, Leynwa sprawled across his back grinning madly. âWell, that was an experience, thank you Paskel, weâll have to practice with that one.â
âBoy, I can see why you love this so much, itâs thrilling!â She says, beaming a smile to Paskel who chitters in agreement, pushing himself up with his wings before kicking up and lifting off, heading back to Skypeak slowly with Leynwa firmly clung to his back, the warm colors of Eversong now much clearer than the previous blur they were.
Meeting Family
Would be a typical sunny day in deep in the Eversong forest, Felicia had found a nice area anyway from anyone else as she would be training herself. She would be busy training away when she would hear people coming us behind her.
âIf youâre trying to sneak up on someone you are going to have to do better than that.â Feli would turn as crosses her normal arm and metal one over her chest as she would stare at the two people came to her. Would be a man and woman, both have black hair, the man would have pale golden eyes while the female had blue. As the woman would be glare at her Feli would be able to tell easily she wasnât a toned as Feli was, she would be able the same height but she didnât look like much of a threat. The man stood a couple of inches taller and looked more toned but wasnât the largest person she had seen.
âYou killed our father!â The woman yelled still with the glaring, Feli just seemed to sigh a little as she would roll her eyes.
âI have done that a lot. You are going to have to be more specific on that one.â Feli replied, she didnât care if she sounded insensitive, she didnât know these people and she honestly did care very much.
âKeedon Cinderwing. Thatâs the man you killed!â The woman looked so angry as she would shout, it was at the point that all Feli could do was laugh. She recognised the name that her father would use sometimes. She couldnât help herself; she knew she should be serious but she just couldnât help herself.
The next thing she would feel would a punch to her face, turning her head to the side. She would feel blood come from her lip and then she would turn her head back to glare herself at the woman her own eyes then start to glow. âNice hit, though now itâs my turn.â She would bring left hand up and smack the woman back, seeing them go down to the ground easily. That would be then when the man would come at her, his fist coming flying at her which she would be able to dodge with easily as she would back herself up. âWell, its clear he never trained either of you. Guest our father didnât need you both to do his bidding.â She would keep stepping back when she would notice the woman get up so she would punch the man in the gut to make him go down.
The fight would go on for a though little bit and Feli would be watching as they would be out of breath as Feli stood there watching. She would be breathing heavily herself but wouldnât be as bad, she could still feel the blood on her lip and there would be more coming from a cut near her eye.
âSo, we done now, because this is getting boring. I get it you want to avenge your father but the reason I killed him was because he ruined my life. He took everything from me. It is also clear that he never said anything about me to you, guess our father wanted to keep that part of his life from you. You may have gotten the father side of him but I got the monster. That is the one I killed.â She would let out a sigh as she would keep looking at them as they sat on the grass when she has been able to put them. The woman was still staring at her with a glare while the man seemed to have a different expression on her face. âLook if you want to know more then find me at some point and actually talk then go for it, I will do that. But if you want to come back and attack me again then go away get some training then we can go again. Until then think about what I said and think back to how he was you never know you might seen that side and just blocked it out. Cause from the expression on your brothers face he has.â
Feli would turn herself away before she would hear another voice. âYour Shaâira arenât you? He spoke about you once when he was drunk. Said he messed you up and treated you badly. He said he was sorry about it.â She listened to the man speak though she didnât turn around.
âI donât go by that name and havenât since he took that life from me. Let me know when you make your choices.â Felicia just walked away after that, leaving them to think and tries to get her own memories back to not act up. âSorry." She would laugh a little. "If he really was then he wouldnât have done it.â She spoke to herself as she would disappear into the woods.

The day after Illuriel was bonded to her new Sibling went by almost in a haze, a blurry sequence of doing her morning routine through the woods, taking care of herself and making her way to Skypeak - when finally she found herself near the Aviary, the blur fading as her eyes scanned for specific shades of blue. Involuntary the elf held her breath, fingers wandering to the new bonding rune, as if to reassure herself she did not just have a fever dream - and with her reaching through this special bond, so familiar and yet so new at the same time, she felt Telâanor was quite far away.
The dragonhawk was enjoying the thrill and excitement of soaring through the air of his new home - it was quite different than his old home, the flying conditions absolutely timid in comparison which made him feel a tinge of homesickness. Telâanor would however have none of it, shaking this feeling and instead, true to his cordial being heâd send a chitter to the fellow Hawks that were out with him in the morning flight. The Dragonhawk did try to reach out to his new companions, though the hawk would feel like standing out more and more, a wild hawk between warhawks. Aware of his chosen Elf reaching out for him heâd send her a mental image of a flower native to his old home to convey his positive feelings, as he had seen her tend to the plant life around this new home of his, as he watched her from afar.
In her absent state of mind she had not noticed it was still before noon, with a slight exhale the redhead would leave the Aviary again to go and play with the Hatchlings, a smile tugging at the edge of her lips - however halting in her steps as she saw the flower in her mind.
Anyone seeing the elf would notice a small, tender smile playing on her lips.
[07.06]
Two days have gone by and with the help of the Captain, Illuriel and Telâanor had special training sessions, to have them both balance out all these new communications and feelings - they were somewhat familiar to Illuriel, but all of this was new for her Sibling so she showed all the patience that was necessary. Telâanor had already gained a bit in size as well, having the island fruit now as part of his diet and the growth showed itself by the hawk knocking things over or underestimating his new size when trying to fit through somewhere he would previously fit through. Illuriel can be seen a lot near Telâanor, or gazing up at the aviary, or her eyes following him through the sky - yet still she was walking on eggshells around him, being overly careful and Telâanor starting to settle in, easing into his new family and with that showing more and more of his character, so far mostly by congratulating his chosen elf to no end.
[08.06.]
*Standing at the front of Skypeak, Illuriel tilted her head upwards to look at the Dragonhawks darting out of the aviary for their morning flight - the perfect time for todayâs duty. The elf was lingering for a moment to look after these soothing shades of blue of one particular Hawk until her eyes could not spot them anymore and then she went to change into her mucking out clothing which consisted of kneehigh boots, easy to clean trousers and a simple shirt, she also wore gloves but before putting those on, Illuriel tried to get her hair somewhat tamed with the green headband sheâs been wearing for a while now. Her hair was still far from the length she once prided herself with, but at least they are close to her shoulders now and they were definitely easier to care for - no more hours of Sunbathing to have her hair dried, or the ordeal of trying to detangle the tiny knots that were reappearing every day. A huff, followed by a smile and a shake of her head. About to put her gloves on, the redhead hesitates and slowly reaches for the scars on her face - they had been treated over time, but luck was not in her favor and she had been injured over and over, so the once smooth skin was nowhere to be found.
It felt weird to touch, it felt weird when she smiled, as if sheâs pulling the skin further than it should go and immediately there was the all too familiar overwhelming feeling of uselessness tearing into her heart and she wondered if Telâanor knew what he got himself into.
They had been flying for a while, soaring through the skies and observing the tiny dots of creatures below, bound to the earth. Telâanor almost found himself pitying them, but his thoughts wandered to his own bound to earth Elf, which had not stopped her from finding a way to explore the freedom of the skies, so he thought they all should just do that - find a way to fly or be bound to the ground forever. It was then he felt a small sting, making him slow down a little, looking around confused where it came from - it dawned on him it mustâve been the connection to his Elf and through it he reached out and the uneasiness vanished.
It was almost time for lunch when Illuriel finally had finished cleaning the Aviary, even if it was a daily task - she wondered if people knew just how much waste these huge Warhawks produce, and then so many of them in one place it was no wonder that it did take as long as it did. With a long sigh sheâd turn to leave the Aviary, the bucket with the last waste that needed disposing of in tow. Outside however she was met with two large and beautiful blue eyes staring at her and a moment of silence followed.
. . .
Remembering her manners she was just about to bow, only for Telâanor to suddenly start chattering, a few trills and squawks in between, clearly cheering for his Elf but the suddenness of it made the redhead flinch and accidently letting go of the bucket which would fall down and while she hoped no poor soul was below and hit by dragonhawk waste, she could not help herself but to laugh.

Flight training
Illuriel had been collecting flowers and herbs all throughout the early hours of this morning and with the first rays of Sunshine she stepped through the great gate of Silvermoon. She made her way to the Bazar and her little Market stand she had there, putting the herbs on display on her counter and using chalk to advertise what she had to offer on this day. In the time that was quiet and no customer in sight, she sat on her little chair and wove the flowers along with other decorative greens into intricate flower crowns.
Lunch time arrived and her Herbs were sold out, so the elf took her basket and filled it with the crowns she made and made her way to Skypeak - though she did make a little detour to walk past her home to snatch an Apple off her tree and carefully dig out a few carrots. Sheâd place her lunch in a small bag and returned to walk to the initial goal. There, sheâd leave the Basket with flower crowns with a note for Vaelath to enchant them with the base enchantment for the upcoming Feloâalah festival and next to the basket filled with crowns heâd find a deep red apple.
Before starting her duty today, she could be seen near the small river not far from Fairbreeze, kneeling there to wash the dirt off the carrots and then sit closeby to have her lunch. Soon a week had passed since sheâs bonded to her new sibling and although she looked forward to see him in battle, she felt grateful that the week was relatively quiet, because it gave her and him the chance to settle and get used to each other. Remembering the multitude of feelings that had whirled through her heart like a storm, Illuriel sighs and leaves the riverside to move towards Skypeak once again.
Today she was meant to have Flight training and so she took her whistle to call for Telâanor and soon enough the Dragonhawk she called for emerged and flew towards her. Once more Illuriel marveled at the speed the Island fruit worked, she never gave it much thought before but now itâs awfully apparent to her. But regardless, the elf would bow for Telâanor and in turn the Dragonhawk would incline his head, like the well-mannered being he was and after the small ritual Illuriel began placing and fixing the saddle on him âItâs amazing how fast youâve learned to answer the pitch of my whistle.â The air filled itself with pleased trills of a Dragonhawk who just got his ego stroked and heâd patiently and cooperatively waited for Illuriel to have the saddle ready, but when she was about to climb on his back she suddenly was thwarted in the face with the tip of his wing - it wasnât hard though enough to keep her from climbing up. Quite confused, she stood there thinking about what she had done wrong all the while Telâanor chided her, giving the elf a piece of his mind. To help his rider understand, heâd slither around, turning and now with Illuriel standing on his other side heâd even offer helping her up with his wing.
A moment of silence passed, before Illuriel just blurted out - âI am not to climb up your right side but only to your left?â the answer of Telâanor came almost straight away but Illuriel was filled with anticipation regardless - a pleased coo, turning into a small cheer for his Elf. The stone that had weighted her heart down lifted immediately and just moments after the two were soaring through Eversong for their Flight training.
[12.06.]
The days had become more busy lately due to the preparations for the Feloâalah festival, crafting had to be done, planning, building, carrying and helping out any other way that was possible - but because of this, the time Illuriel could spend cultivating her bond to Telâanor had suffered a little. And yet the redhead still found short moments in between to try and search for him in the skies or swing by the Aviary to greet him and in turn the Silver-blue kept his eyes on the lookout for her when soaring high above. Over the week theyâve gradually gotten closer, the very beginning awkward and observing the other from afar to occasional visits in between work - itâs proven useful that Illuriel had been bonded to Ylyndar for over a year, it helped her smoothing the bonding with Telâanor and the additional training did wonders as well.
With todayâs task in mind, Illuriel made her way to the noticeboard where the weekly assignments are posted, looking through the list and finally her eyes land on the other person assigned for the evening feed - Caithalis. With a smile the elf first takes a look around Skypeak to see if sheâd find her but in the end sheâd use the communicator - âHey Caithalis - i had a little idea since weâre both on evening feed duty tonight.â
An hour and a bit later, the redhead could be seen jogging towards Skypeak, two fishing rods and two large buckets in her hands, meeting up with Caithalis and offering her one of the set. âI thought it might be nice for them to have a fresh snack along tonights evening feed.â âYou are going to spoil them, you realize?â Illuriel smiles towards Caithalis at that answer, guilt is nowhere to be found in her expression. âI admit i wanted to catch one for Telâanor but i knew iâd feel bad if not everyone got one.â a small pause followed only to be broken by Caithalisâ next words âI missed what happened to Ylyndar, How are you and Telâanor dealing?â A sigh, a somewhat crooked smile and a nod towards the south⌠And the two made their way down to the river, where Illurielâs answer would have been carried away by the wind. After arriving, they would be setting up the spots they would sit for the next hours and finally add the bait to their hooks before throwing them in. With a fond smile Illuriel would look towards Caith, keeping her voice low because she once heard thatâs how one is supposed to fish. âI thank you for agreeing to this, itâs also really nice to spend a little time outside of work⌠Well, technically this is -for- work but letâs just⌠yeah letâs just ignore that.â Along Caithalisâ answer, she would show a massive smile, which definitely felt comforting - âLetâs call it a perk of the job.â The following snorting laugh indeed scared some fishes away and with drooping ears and an apologetic smile she turns her focus back at the task, keeping a low conversation up though.
Come evening and dinner time approaching, the two redheads finally reel in their hooks to look over their yield. They were quite successful, buckets filled to the brim which meant they had to be careful carrying them back to Skypeak. Silently, Illuriel would start working, cutting the fishes in rough cubes - but it didnât take long and sheâd hear Caithalisâ voice, and with curiosity Illu would turn to peek at her. It was apparent that Caithalis was pretty immersed with her work and so it seemed she did not notice herself that she was singing - and Illuriel did not plan to bring it to her attention, instead she turns back to her own work and enjoys it as she keeps cutting. Finally the two went to the Aviary, making a stop to also get some of the regular evening feed to make it a proper meal for them, though one might already hear a few more impatient trills.
Making their way through the lines, each of the Dragonhawks was given the fresh fish-cubes first and then given the rest. When it was Telâanorâs turn Illuriel smiled even brighter, offering the Fish-cubes which he first eyed suspiciously, unsure what to make of the form. Incredibly reluctant Telâanor would lean forward to open his beak and close it on the first -cube-, he would try to squish the fish a little by closing the beak a bit more and releasing the pressure again. Like this, beak half opened and the fishcube in between, heâd exhale a few cooâs before pushing Illuriel back a few steps, which resulted in a confused look but sheâd stay there to look at him from that spot. When he was satisfied with the free space he had around himself, heat would start pooling in the back of his throat until it was slowly rising and escaping through his beak. It wasnât really a breath of fire but more very hot air that would âcookâ the fish cube in his beak and after a few moments heâd repeat the earlier motion of putting a little pressure on the now cooked cube of fish to squish it and suddenly, the cube vanished completely in his beak.
Speechless Illuriel stood there, but the bright smile that was shown on her face as she shook her head conveyed nothing but fondness.
Learning The Truth
Felicia stood watching the water from the sea below smacking against the cliff edge, Nymira flying over head diving down every now and again to catch herself a fish to munch. The pair had scouted the area since getting there the night before. Not like she didnât trust her half-brother, actually she didnât considering the first time she met him and her half-sister they tried to kill her. But he had asked her to meet him this time and she did tell them she would if they asked but she wanted to be sure it wasnât a trap so that is why her and Nymira scouted the area last night and this morning again, not like she got much in the way of sleep. Her memories wake her everytime she sleeps alone.
âYou came, I have to say I am surprised.â Feli turned to look at the man when she heard his voice. He looked so much like their father it throw her off guard a little when she looks at him.
âYou asked me to come, so I did.â She stood straight as she looked at him, crossing her arms over her chest. âThough I canât say I am shocked your sister didnât come with you. Did she take me other advice to go get some training before she tries to fight me again?â
âNo she went back home, she doesnât know I am here. I wanted to talk with you myself, she doesnât know what our father could be like she only saw the good in him. I heard him many times at night talking with someone about dealing with people and heard him talking about you as well. When I used to ask him about it he would get angry about it and tell me to forget what I heard.â He step closer to her as he spoke till he would be beside her and looks out into the sea himself as he sat in the grass under them.
âSounds like him, he hated anyone trying to find out what he was doing if he didnât tell them directly, and even if he did it would only be half truths or small parts. He would only tell me the small things I needed to know and if I tried to ask more he would have me beaten so you got lucky.â Feli say herself down nearby looking out to the water herself. Thinking about her past was always hard for her and she hated every bit of it.
âTell me everything, I want to know what he was like I want to understand.â Her brother looked at her and she to him, she saw something different in his face then than the face of their father. She saw kindness, compassion and a willing to learn. In that moment she could see how young he looked and knew he was naive to the world around them.
âAlright, but this isnât going to be pretty.â She sighed a little as she looked out onto the sea again."
They spoke for hours, Feli telling him how their father could be and what he had done. How he had her memories changed to suit what he needed, how he had had her trained to me his weapon. She told her brother how their father took her life from her and never thought it was wrong. She had lost so much because of him. Her brother spoke of the side she didnât get to know, how he was caring with him and their sister and made sure they had everything they needed, he talked about how he would protect them from the world and would be rare that they would ever all go out together. Feli knew they their father did that, was because he had many enemies and didnât want them to use his kids against him. In a way she almost respected him for it.
As it got dark the pair would stand to look at each other. âThank you for coming here today and speak with me. I hope that we will be able to do it again. Maybe I will be able to convince our sister to come next time.â Her brother extended his hand to her and Feli would think before she would go to take it.
âJust send me another letter when and where and I will meet you. And donât push her too much to try to come, if she didnât see that side then will be hard for her to understand.â She spoke calm before they would drop their hands. âUntil that time thenâŚ?â
âCaeron. I looked forward to our next meeting then.â He bowed to her and she returned it before she would walk him walk away into the woods. Feli sighs as she would relax a little hearing Nymira fly down to be in front of her and chitters happily. âWell that went better then I expected. Now do we fly to get home sooner or do we stay another night here and head back in the morning.â Nymira looks at her and the goes to nudge her around to make her move faster to get up. Feli laughs as she does and goes to climb up. âOk ok I get it.â She straps herself in and the pair would fly off over the sea to go home.
Though unbeknown to the meeting siblings there was another watching and listening to them talk. After Felicia and Nymira had flown away, Olilene would come out of her spot behind the trees and watches the retreating form of her older half-sister and dragonhawk. She looks up to the sky and seems confused as she would feel water come to her eyes. âWas I wrong about you this whole time father. How could you of treated us all so differently?â She would let her tears fall from her eyes as she lowered her head. She had a lot to think about, but one thing she was sure of she wanted to know her sister.
I was meandering down my google documents and found an old story I wrote during my time with Brigante, I thought Iâd share it. It was just a little extract I wrote after one of my first events with him.
Since the last recorded escapades of Deâvontae Firecloud, he had been through many ups and downs. He had run away from the military and fell into a crowd of thieves and thugs only to end up in his own personal harem. Of course. He had settled down despite his deep misgivings about the idea and attempted family life, only to break things off in the most unusual of ways. He had fled to Booty Bay to liaison with an exceptionally foxy sailor and even toyed with the idea of becoming a tavern owner. He had started to experience more frequent gaps in his memories from his trauma left by the torture in Draenor. This led him to the arms of an old associate who helped him find the light and gain back his sense of morality. In Orgrimmar when he left the druidâs care, he was picked up and recruited by Brigante Summerisle and then he ended up here. In the blistering colds of Northrend fighting another war from the skies once more.
Have you ever stood in the midst of battle, pushed between the heated bodies of stinking warriors and the cold corpses of allies and foes alike, only to think to yourself⌠âF**** I wish I had pissed before they charged.â And âI wonder if Iâll die, having not bested my high score in piss roulette.â The best chances you probably havenât, but these were the thoughts that flickered through my mind, despite my best attempts at thinking more important things as I fought against a pack of Worgen.
It was my third night in Northrend with the Sun Hawks and I had been enlisted into the scouting team for a second time. Me? A scout. I couldnât fathom where that idea had come from, but nevertheless it was an opportunity for me to prove my pay as the commandant had said. We had been asked to take hold of some important resources for the war effort, of course the symbiotic plague of blue had also got their eyes on these key locations. It was a crump-hole in my original plan of a breezy walk outside when the alliance stormed into our bloody faces. âSh**.â
We drew our bows and our pointy tooth picks and set a close line to defend ourselves from the sudden explosion of ugly humans and their allies. Iâm still not sure what was more of an onslaught to the senses, the quick to fill scent of entrails becoming extrails, or the sight of those fat rolls hanging over belts on the human women. I was quickly charged by a pack of Worgen - if youâre not sure what they are, they are essentially the twisted reality of âAaw, look my dogs trying to be people by standing on its hind legs.â Itâs not cute. It was then as I strafed and moved myself between the bodies in an attempt to gain some breathing room that I found myself wondering if there was more integrity in taking a piss in my armour or waiting until death took me and my corpse was free to do what it pleased. While weâre there. Do Forsaken get brought back with whatever they still had loaded in their bowls? Would it be rude to ask one in the future?
My thoughts were interrupted as an arrow whizzed past my head, skimming over my forehead and causing blood to dribble down my skin. âWhat the f-âŚâ I turned my gaze to follow the flight of the arrow and it was there my eyes befell on my worst nightmare. A bleedinâ plump Kulâtiran huntress. She scowled at me and in her harsh lilt yelled for me to leave the Worgen alone - which is an entirely unreasonable assumption on her end. I think sheâll find they were bothering me. But thatâs an entirely different point. It took me a moment of notching my new arrow to come to realise I had met her before the other night on my first mission. And like that night she had taken to firing at me! I mean who would want to hurt me? Iâm bloody beautiful. Our dance began, arrows fired, weaving our bodies away from other enemies and still keeping a focus on one another. She shot well for a poor sight and even more so when I suggested she was forty and nearing silver haired life. I was about to learn her name when I was barrelled into by another giant worgen.
Now, as I recant this story of that pigâs ear of a trip, I wonder if I shall meet this old tart in the field once more. And if I do, I wonder which one of us will land the lucky arrowâŚ
A wonderful story!
my favorite part is the âplump Kultiran Huntressâ
