This is same with Asmongold. But the true question is - whats harder?
Play the game, improve and put the work and effort in to achieve your goals in the game.
or
Became so famous and loved by the community that ppl actualy do these stuff for you. Give you gold, carry you trough raids, give you thousands of dollars worth mounts etc.
Pick one. Which is in your opinion harder?
Because i personaly would absolutely love to sit on my backdoor in valdraken and have ppl trading gold to me instead of doing some tedious bs.
Imho theres a fine line with these topics where you just became a jealous or envious of others.
Not simping for either of them but some pll should realy ask themself that question above.
I used to not mind him but he has become a draining, complaining bore.
I really dislike the way he sensationalises the most mundane topics. Like most of them wow youtubers they get to big and start to believe their own exaggerations. So do others it seems. I made it soo his stuff doesnât show up anymore.
Bellular speaks the truth we should take wow out the back and put a bullet in the old girl to put it out of its misery oh wait thatâs not what he was saying nm then
His videos are cool when wow or blizaard has content to discuss. In other times his videos are garabage (for example in mid-late shadowlands i think almost every video was dog, cause of content drought
Bellular is a clickbaiter. He lures people with big phat titles that do not quite match the video.
Asmongold is Asmongold but he never pretended to be something else. If anything he grew noticeably wiser with age.
in my opinion Belular is neither friend or foe. I see him as another player who became a youtuber and shares his opinions and passions for the game with the platform.
Sometimes you agree with what he says, Sometimes you donât.
He can come off as a know it all at times, Who tells blizzard ââthe answersââ But really how many of us posting here on the forums havenât assumed that role by now our self
Come on you all know it.
He just happens to have a Youtube channel to post his opinions on. Same as Asmongold. So their opinion and takes hits a little harder
I read Bellular, and i just tap out. I cant remember ever having more distaste for a content creator. In general all wow content creators are absolutely garbage but Bellular just strokes me in the wrong way. He doesnt even play the game just smack talk it while harvesting free money from braindeads giving away money for free.
I usually listen to his videos in the background.
But the annoying thing about him is that when i start the vid to see what its about and then goes like: Yeah, this seems interesting. So i put down my phone and start cooking or whatever when i hear: BUT FIRST LETS GO SPONSOR TIME!
Im never interested in listening or watch what kind of sponsor any youtuber has and it annoys me that they donât put the sponsor part first or last.
Apart from that i enjoy the lore videos. Heâs an ok guy.
Honestly, Asmongold can be entertaining sometimes, but both Taliesin and Bellullar have 0 personality and just either read wowhead for you or whatever their discord orbiters told them to.
I seriously donât understand why people watch these guys. You learn more by reading updates yourself instead of listening to these two buffoons doing speculation that 99% of the time is nothing. While the 1% is fed by Blizzard for advertisement.
I am new to the game, well, got interested in it a while back, but never played it, last expansion I was engaged with was Wrath of the Lich King, and now I thought, why not try the new stuff.
And since I am new, I looked for information, saw a video of Bellular about dragon riding because I asked myself if there be an add-on to help with it, and he provided some useful information and was posting links for further information and what he was talking about: an excellent habit.
So, I am currently looking into other videos and having someone not directly engaged, but talking from another perspective than a player is not by itself a waste of time or a bad idea. That you see some baits in the title is a bad habit you see flourishing frequently and has to do with the underlying models, but it is another topic.
I do not mind how he plays the game, the logic of one has to play professionally a game to be eligible for an opinion is disproven countless times, no need to even worry about it; being an athlete does not guarantee one is able to theorize about oneâs own sport and only because someone is good at a game does not equal to being good at taking in the big picture. Of course, there are limits, but there is no need for elaborate hypotheses here.
Or to put it another way: I do not have to lie down in a deep fryer to understand and describe and talk about what happens to the fish stick inside.
