Bellular's spiraling out of control

In his latest video he goes full blown hate mode, directly attacking and insulting Ybarra for taking certain measures. It was sincerely hard to watch. But ok, let’s say there is an urgent need to address this issue within Blizzard, fine. Do it. But like this?

If I didn’t know any better I’d assume something really bad has happened between those two. Or that Bellular just completely lost it.

My perspective:

  • Speaking ill of other companies or their leaders (“Michael (Ybarra) you should be “freaking” ashamed of yourself - you blabla ignoramus”) can reflect poorly on your professionalism and character. It makes you come across as petty or untrustworthy, and WILL damage your own reputation.

  • The business world is often smaller than we realize, and badmouthing someone could get back to you or your associates. Which will eventually backfire and lead to negative consequences for you and your company, such as a damaged reputation or strained business relationships.

  • Constructive feedback can be useful, but criticizing someone just for the sake of it or to earn you short-term fame can be harmful and unproductive. Instead of spending time and energy on improving your own business, you are wasting it on negativity that won’t bring any benefits in the long run.

Leaders are accountable for the outcomes they produce, and they need to make difficult decisions and take responsibility for them. Ybarra is approaching a different strategy which is a context-specifc adaptation. Wether this will go left or right, is something we will just have to wait and see. However, I will safely assume is that the reasons behind whatever he does are a lot more complex than what the internet wants us to think.

Bellular is a young manager for a medium sized business. He has read a couple of business administration + leadership manuals and he seems to be doing alright at what he does. But here’s some flash news: big corp and C-level management is a different universe and making comparisons there, simply shows how ignorant you are.

So until he develops a few more skills and gets a better understanding of what it takes to be president of a commercial enterprise, he should just keep it humble and focus on improving his own business. And preferably by not poisoning the community with this irrational negativity. It is sad, embarrassing and totally uncalled for.

Masking swearing is circumventing the filter and your post breaks the rules. If you just remove it, your post can’t be flagged

Overall I feel like his videos have taken a more clickbaity drama-focused turn as of recent years, presumably for more sponsor clicks, rather than providing neutral and objective information and speculation. If that’s the direction he wants to take his channel, that’s his prerogative, of course. I just won’t be watching.

I think I managed to remove it but keeping some portion of it so it makes sense. Thanks Puny.

Failular notice that when he over react and making click bait titles get more views.
If he see a lot of ppl whine he attack Blizz.
If he see a lot like DF he will like it too.
He dosen’t give ANYTHING to WoW and the community.
He just milk the hate or love wagon each time to make money from views.

Bell should stick to selling his man products and stay away from WoW . I can not say without a ban what type of person he is…

Maybe he just doesn’t want lazy people around like Elon Musk when he took over twitter. It is better for the game I think too. The game got a lot better from SL and that is all I care about. Ybarra wasn’t slowly destroying the game, the others were. He wasn’t even around when expansions like Cata, MoP and WoD launched who were frankly mediocre or even terrible.

Surely you don’t mean a huge lump of metal used to hold a ship in place in open seas, prefixed by the 23rd letter of the alphabet :laughing:

I thought long and hard before writing this post, I normally don’t give a toss myself. I just secretly hope the community will eventually see him for what he really is, and quit supporting this garbo content.

Him and a guy i can not remember the name of anymore (big guy always shouting and had a white board behind him) are just clickbait trash content maker’s. So do not feel bad for making the post.

I watched it a couple of hours ago and it felt to me that he took things personally because he knows how poorly employees get treated at Blizzard and he’s also making games himself.

Oh no, a youtuber said a something mean about a higher up at Blizzard! Quick, we have to protect him!

There are more sober ways to address disagreement, even anger. Calling names and directly insulting people publicly, people you barely know, is really dumb and unproductive. I’ve said this before: the moment you decide to be a rude and arrogant prick, any argument you make goes out of the window.

So many RNG youtubers and streamers these days.

I understand where you’re coming from but I can also understand his point of view, his anger doesn’t really diminish his arguments for me, maybe it’s because in France we go on strike and complain constantly lol.
