What do you mean it’s reflecting on the game? The game has been mediocre AT BEST for the last 7 years give or take. What was the excuse then?

The game was picking up with DF release. Things were starting to go on the right way
Then he promised the devs bonuses for this, then he cut them in half?!
Then the good devs left for Riot where they get paid 3-4 times more
What does that mean for WoW?
That there are 1000 more devs waiting in line to join the Blizzard brand. Who understand how the corporate world works, are willing to show up to the office and do the job.

I actually dislike Hazel , gets carried in PvP and PvE , gets rare mounts offered on a plate (she made a video about FINALLY getting voidtalon, and by that it meant that a fanboi camped the spawn locations and summoned her there and she clicked the portal)

Thirst traps, clickbaits are all a result or mediocre education of a generation who grew up with iphones facebook IG and tiktok and depend on others to make an opinion, without being able to make one based on their life experiences and education

the issue many have with him is that hes been making negative videos about wow for years and still hasnt quit - why? because without wow he’d be nothing
why watch someone like that? someone just out for money and attention
and his opinions you so valiantly defend are not even his own, he is reading a script which is just the culmination of research he and his team does on various forums
hes saying nothing we didnt already know and we certainly dont need some random youtuber to state the obvious
its the same thing when people started claiming Taliesin came up with the class skins idea because he made a video about it when theres tons of threads about it already that pre-date his pathetic channel to begin with

Well, WoW has been in a terrible state for years
You cant blame a news anchor for the negative or positive news it brings.
And quitting when things go rough means not believing in fighting for better, arguing for change. If people like him, visible with a big platform, doesnt argue for change, who will? Us? On this forums that no Blizz staff reads?
Also, a very low % of the players even know the WoW forums exists or use it or even care.
If we passed behind our feelings towards him which mostly comes out of envy of his monetization over WoW, and pay attention to the arguments and proofs , we would realize that everything he says is true
The video in question literally exposes Blizz head manager, cutting down on its employers promised benefits to 50%
That is terrible for the game itself. But people ignore these big issues just because they dislike the person who brought this into the spotlight?
not sure where those 1000 devs are considering blizzard is having problems filling their positions and have been ever since the scandal
also scandal aside why would you want to work in california for peanuts that aren’t even enough to support basic living if low pay coupled with high expenses due to california being super expensive is what you’d get out of working for blizz the end result would have you ultimately be living out of your car which some employees have
meanwhile your boss is buying his 17th gold plated yatch and super car for all the money he gets from cutting staff and paying you peanuts great job offer there

The video exposes the ASSUMPTION that Ybarra is behind decisions as such. Which brings me to the point of my post; when you have no clue what you’re talking about, just be quiet.
If people are unhappy about having to work in the office, I can totally understand that, I moved to working from home and now I won’t do anything different because get this, with the quiet safe environment of my home, I work better. I’m sure they feel the same, especially if a return to the office brings with it the aftermath of the various alleged scandals.
Then why do they continue working for this awful tyrant of an employer? They’re not hostages. Blizzard’s name on their CV is basically a free ticket to any other major studio out there.
You’re obvious unaware of how a business work, so im gonna take pity on your poor soul and explain some basic things such as major financial decisions
