Quick question, i just bought some azerite Benthic armor and the armor has the SAME perks. Do all azerite Benthic have the same perks? OR is this just bad luck?
There is only one Azerite piece produced by each armour type. So all Benthic Cloth Heads have the same stats and traits:

So in other words, ALL azerite Benthic has the SAME ststs (chest, head und shoulders) and buying more is a waste, since all are the same?
They aren’t a total waste. You can still disenchant them or scrap them to get some crafting materials and that currency to buy random azerite pieces. Also you can send benthic tokens to your alts, they are account bound.
I have several copies for each spec, because continually changing the traits costs a lot of gold over time.
Benthic gear do roll “upgraded” from time to time and then you get something extra like “speed” or “dodge” but no warforge or titanforge bs with higher ilevels. The stats for each also piece remains the same. It seems to be a trail run on a new gearing system and a move back to “best in slot” items for the next expansion.
I like it. You put work in, you get a good piece for gear and then you put work in to upgrade it. The work you put in is also directly rewarded. The more work the better your gear is and you don’t need to swap out items every time you get a higher ilevel piece form some WQ, dungeon or raid. You can also decide which items to buy and upgrade so you can focus on which stats you want stack. There just needs to be different sources with different sets of gear where one item from source 1 stacks mastery and critical strike but the same piece from source 2 stacks haste and versatility and source 3 stacks stacks mastery and haste etc. But all the gear upgrades in the same way and to the same max level. This will enable you to pick the “best in slot” items with the best stats for your class and spec. Raid drop gear from heroic and mythic raids should be a higher ilevel replacements for the upgraded gear. For example upgraded gear is max 300 then heroic raids drop 310 and mythic raids drop 320
Not entirely a waste, if you want to squeeze every last point out of a stat you can keep buying and hoping you get a socketed one then scrap the ones that don’t. The tokens before they are turned into armour are bound to account so you can send them to gear up alts.
