Best Alchemy Spec for Goldmaking in MoP Classic?

Hey all,

I’m prepping for goldmaking and wanted to get a second opinion on which Alchemy specialization is best purely for profit in MoP Classic.

Right now I’m leaning toward Transmutation Master for the daily cooldowns and proc potential on things like Truegold, Living Elements, and later Living Steel / Primal Diamonds in MoP.

For context:

  • I have Jewelcrafting on an alt, plus a Miner and a Herbalist all at 525 and planning on skilling these right after launch, so I can feed most mats myself.
  • Main goal: passive, scalable gold across alts.
  • I don’t mind min-maxing daily cooldowns, but want to avoid alchemy specs that rely on market spikes or heavy crafting unless it’s really worth it.

Would love to hear from experienced goblins, is Transmute Master still king, or is Potion/Elixir Master the way to go in MoP?

If you have like 4-5 alchemists, transmutation is very good the first week or two. Afterwards idiots with their aggressive undercutting and flood of mats ruins it. I tried potion master after truegold fell into a bottomless pit but tbh you are only making a profit off of the extra potion proc and the margins are really small.
