Best all around class to main

Hey, Im getting tired of being a multiclasser and never getting one char at a high level/gear/exp etc…

I mainly looking for a class that is good/able to do alot of stuffs and having fun at the same time i want to be able to solo alot of things, have fun in pvp and pve, have some cool transmogs for the char, no problems with world quest etc…

I want a all around class that can/are/are
*Solo
*Viable in pve/pvp/world…
*Fun gamestyle
I have 3 favorites so far and thats DK,DH,LOCK.

*Wlock: Looks like they have a fun playstyle, able to solo, cool gear and moves. Negative: lack of mobility.

*DK: Blood dk are imo the strongest solo and tank class. good self healing and damage. Negative: Very bad mobility, kinda boring gamestyle

*DH: Fast class, cool animations… able to solo, great dmg Negative: Boring to play…
Im not intrested on a healer spec…
What do you guys think? give me tips, I havent played any of these classes so much. Greetings.

At this very moment there is only one all around class exists in game - druid.

Druid is the only class who can:
Tank, Range dps, Melee dps, Heal and stealth.
It is the stealth part that puts is above all the other hybrid classes.
Also instant travel form is awesome when falling.

As this game is a multi player game I advise you to team up with someone and choose a class that suits the combo. Then it will be fun again.

I use my DK this expansion for all the quests and open world stuff.
I can’t comment on pvp unfortunately, but plate transmogs are great and a big plus for me in open world content is not only the survivability but also having faster mount speed plus water walking whenever I need in areas I can’t fly.

Druid does not suit me  Healer spec i would never play anyways… thx for your answer

Based on your favorite i would suggest:
Demon hunter because of wings, good area of effect ability, highly mobile class and can theoraticly tank(tho i personal hate it when demon huntards tank)

Death knight is a close second tho it would be more blood knight then anything else.
Simply because there nearly unkillable.

Warlock i woudnt suggest unless you like the idea of walking around with a personal army(demologie) Fire is a discount mage and affliction is a discount priests.
Also blizzard still hasnt fixed pet ai.

playing with my friend Retri/hpala

I think DH is best option, it lacks nothing, good in pvp good in pve tank/dps, cool to play and easy to learn, a lot of usable abilities.

But if you look at statistics of WoW during the years, rogue is best you can play, there was never pvp season where rogue could not be played, its harder to learn but nothing overwhelming because every class is ovesiplified even rogue.

But honest opinion play what you find most fun, and what you can see spending HRS in if you do not find your main fun you will get burned out, that is what is going on in BFA even when gameplay is average classes are bad, and that lead to this “big burnout”

Druids can’t melee DPS. They have a spec for it, but it is… not good, or at least it wasn’t when I was maining my Druid at the start of the xpac. Great in Dueler’s Guild but wretched everywhere else.

Hunter is fun. Monk too. EDIT: And DH of course.

I’ve leveled and geared 4 charaters this Addon (3 Above 370).

My take on those for classes:

Rogue: Great ST, Great Sustained AoE, somewhat complex and situational rotations(ST vs AoE, Multidots), insane utility (Kick, Blind, Sap, Stun on 16 sec cd, vanish, shroud, Cloak, Evasion, Blood Phiole)
Overall a fun and challenging class to play, that is top tier in every aspect of the game(M+/Raids/PvP)

Druid:

Boomkin: Great ST, great sustained AoE, depending on talents great AoE burst, great utility (Cr, Innervate, Treants, Taifun, Solarbeam, Roots)
Pretty boring rotation imo, which makes it a boring class for raids, in M+ you have all your utility which keeps you busy.

Guardian: Don’t play guardian druid. Feels horrible to play atm.

Hunter:

BM: Great ST, great sustained AoE, great utility (BL, Freezing Trap, Stun, Tar Trap, Root, Turtle, selfheal every 2 min, dmg reduction every 1 min, purge/soothe depending on pet)
A really flexible class that doesn’t get punished for being a range due to no cast bars but the rotation is kinda boring and mostly resolves around keeping frenzy buff up and getting as many Kill Comands out as possible. If you want to play a range but like melees, it’s the right class for you.

DH:

Hav: Good ST, Great AoE burst. Great Utility (5% magic dmg buff, darkness, purge, kick, AoE stun, Wings, lots of mobility)
The rotation is pretty straight forward and the same for ST and AoE, just press everything on CD and you’ll be top DPS.

Veng: Great Tank(Though not as good as DK in M+) with a lot of selfheal and mobility. If you want a more challenging tank to play than DK, DH is your choice. With the nerfs coming to BDK(And mages, which nerfs BDKs ability to kite), VDH will probably become flavor of the month with the next patch and become a really thought after tank for M+.
We have killed 5/8 M, some of the bosses with VDH tank, so they’re also okayish for Raiding, though, they arent monks.

I personally can recommend a Rogue, it’s my main for a reason, but if you like melees and prefer a more straight forward rotation, DH is your choice.

If you want to play a range but don’t like cast bars, Hunter would be perfect and if you like being a sweet owl that is a beast in M+, take a druid.

Thanks for you took you time and answered, I guess im choosing between lock and dh right now… good answers mate helped me out

My favourites for solo (meaning fun to play and least amount of downtime) are hunter, lock and DH.
DH has cool glide and less faffing with setting up pets/spells, but lock has a cool demon army and some nifty extras (soulstone, water breathing, etc).

Ret Paladin - you can’t die in solo content throughout the world unless it’s a skull or a bunch of elites. Godly in world PvP and instanced.

Discipline Priest - godly in all solo content, and PvP in general. Does require some modicum of skill to use but you can get use to it.

The 3 you mention are reasonable, except the fact that I really don’t care about Demon Hunters and think they lack entire substance as a class (regardless of spec).

what you need is a night elf druid.
