Best Blood DK Covenant for 9.1?

Hi

Whats the best covenant for a casual Blood DK player who does a bit of Mythic+ and a bit of PVP please?
Ive read the guides on Icy Veins and Wowhead and they both seem to say Kyrian, until the very last part on Wowhead that shows real time Covenant Popularity taken from Blizzard’s API, that shows that 47% of players choose Venthyr.
Could someone point me in the right direction please, as i just dont have the time with the amount of hours i work to try multiple options.

you will have a hard time if u want a covenant to fit all the content…
however, you can pretty much play blood with whatever convenant u want.

fortunately, u will soon be able to swap at will. kyrian pot removes necrotic stacks tho, venthyr helps aoe snap agro and RP

for pvp, necrolord is best as slappy hands is very valuable.

overall, u can go venthyr over kyrian as u can deal with necrotic easily

Don’t read any of the class guides on wowhead.
Check the top players in their respective content on raider.io or warcraftlogs.com .
As for pvp, blood is heavily nerfed with increased damage taken and decreased healing so it doesn’t matter what you pick.

The best overall covenant for now is venthyr, which will not matter in a few months as you will be able to freely swap.

Anything specific on the Unholy/ Frost guide that you think is wrong?

Not the one you’re asking, but when I was making and trying out first my frost death knight, I found your guide very comprehensive and enjoyable, well written, explained in detail and easy to digest. Though a noob’s perspective here, maybe it is different for veteran players.
I would recommend at least for starters. :+1:
