I want to level a feral Druid pretty early in Shadowlands but I have no idea what covenant is the best.
Wowhead have changed what they thought so it’s not so clear anymore. They say that it’s either Venthyr or Kyrion. Kyrion seems to be slightly better than Venthyr because Venthyr have the class ability that doesn’t benefit for me so much.
I should add that on my feral, I will only quest and maybe play some lower dungeons. Not raid och high m+ keys. So that’s why I think the Venthyr class abilities don’t benefit me so much.
But what is the best overall covenant for feral and why?
What is best in raid and m+?
Theyre all likely going to be buffed and tweaked so I wouldnt worry too much, I’d just pick the one you like the playstyle of. It also depends on what legendaries you are going to take too.
For me I’m going nightfae, invoke the spirits would be great and another mini teleport aint bad either and faster pulls between mobs <3
Im going night fae,
Convoke the spirits is the only fun one,
the other three are just to boring to play with,
I wish maldraxxus one could spread to multiple targets at the same.
For levelling at least I’ve found Night Fae the most fun and useful by far. Being a burst CD it fits well with the Feral playstyle as I’m just building/bursting normally anyway. At least that’s my take on it, 1st time ever playing Feral. That and its a lot of fun watching it delete mobs.
At 60 I plan on playing Resto and mostly M+ with Night Fae still looking like the most useful choice, especially as a Balance or Feral Affinity DPS cooldown. Will be interesting to see how the Covenant abilities are balanced before S1 begins.
I am too enjoying night fae with convoke the spirits. It’s also a great help now we have bad gear. Feels like a great addition to have. Also the blink effect is really nice and a warm welcome.
I went with the british tea drinking party throwing vampires. for that reason. dont worry about the ability’s damage/potential. they will be tweaked, and shouldnt make much difference anyways.
Night Fae for PvP is dope. I don’t do much PvE but it might be usefull aswell.
In PvP it actually give the feral a new perspective, it’s easily counterable (silence / stun) but if you can land a full one, you can obliterate your opponenent
