Goal: Arcadian War Turtle 
WoWhead comments are quite negative about the drop rate. Somehow I already collected 57, another character has 43 (too bad it’s not a boa).
I try raids on M/H/N level but nothing.
Is it worth it with Instas? On all difficulties? Or, for example, can all rares of Argus drop it?
How did you farm it?
I’m curious about the same thing, for the same goal.
Its a slow grind. Most you will get from either the wq boxes or running every raid/Dungeon.
Try the raids in every difficulty but jeeez this drop rate 
It takes time to get the coins but i found the best way to get the coins where from doing the daily emissary quests, lesser invasions (which i think were every couple of hours) and the paragon caches. I rarely got them from instances or killing rares.
Another endless grind wohooo
From my experience - paragon boxes and raids is the fastest way to it, in a few months of on and off farming I’ve gathered around 65
Edit: 3/8 Dreamweavers paragon boxes dropped 2 coins each, today
I’m not having any luck.
I beat every Legion raid at 4 levels, but it’s good if I got 4.
I see that the lovely creators were on top here as well in terms of rng.
I needed 1 coin on the alt for the engineering recipe and i just did 1 emissary dropped from the box.
I have 66 now, I’ll hit the goal of 1 coin a day and it will come together once 
Got a ton of them from doing the Emissaries going after them horrid Paragon mounts back during Legion before it got buffed…
I think these were not meant to be farmed. If you look at where they drop from it looks to me it was intended theses would be gathered up naturally by playing the game. Legion itself was grindy enough with AP so I personally didn’t bother farming these but I have over 120 of these coins.
I do agree the end boss of a raid/mythic dung should guarantee one coin, especially after Legion ended.
