Yes because people keep asking these things and the real answer is that we simply do not know yet.
The problem is when you link those people to webpages like that they WILL take them as truth as what it actually is.
you are helping spread missinformation even though they do have the red text people ignore that.
Just like they ignore that tier lists are subjective opinions.
I just expected you not to spread missinformation clearly i was wrong.
And those guides say things like

Things are changing every week like three weeks ago Frost DK was really high up now its a middle of the pack spec. Afflication Warlock has been ripping the meters during beta while they are still strong they arent as dominating no more.
And 9.1/9.2/9.3 is also bound to change things up so its impossible to call which specs are the five best once. Pure damage classes however usally have a competitive spec so they are always a safe bet. Rogue/Warlock/Mage/Hunter always have a meta performing damage spec.
Also one thing to bare in mind just because sims says a spec is stronger than another spec doesnt mean you will perform better with it. I’ve ha several times in the past where I performed better with a spec that on paper should be weaker.
So instead of looking for the strongest classes for Shadowlands look for the one you think is the most fun and if its a pure damage dealer I promise you that at least one spec will be up there.

No but in this thread no one mentioned those places until YOU came along you are the spreader of those web pages here in this thread.
if anyone takes the information they get from this thread and apply it to what ever YOU are the reason they know about it.
All you had to do was NOT to link those web pages.
It was that simple but you had to do it because reasons.
I will always let people decide for themselves. I am not here to dictate to anyone.
That information is out there. They are free to read it.
And like I said they have warnings like

Yet you are dictating when you linked those web pages when you DO NOT need to.
Because people like you just randomly link them as if they are facts they had to put those there SPECIFICALLY because of what you just did.
The poster had gotten the information they needed or rather the knowladge that there is not something we can know for sure right now what will be best.
There were ZERO reasons to link to those web pages none what so ever.
And all it does is spread the information that will be wrong in what a week or just some days.
Just because the information is out there “Although it is mostly wrong” does not mean you have to link it.
Be more critcal about what you just link to people.
I can and will link information when it is asked for.
I will treat people like adults who are free to read whatever information they wish and make up their own minds.
Including heeding the big huge warnings in red writing such as:-

I’m pretty sure people can actually make up their own minds ergo thinking for themselves instead of blindly agreeing with whatever their favourite streamer says.
Unfortunately some take the word of streamers as gospel. Note her last paragraph where it says not final and it will change and be updated as necessary

Demon hunter used to be there too. But they finally gutted them, which is nice.

If people cant look at data and information objectively then that’s on them. If we follow your philosophy then all sentient thought should be banned as well

I really want to insult you but i will refrain from doing so because it isn’t constructive.
I will be the best DPS in Shadowlands of course.
If you want the best results play the spec which is the best for you not the class which is the best in overall damage statisticaly. 
survival hunter?
Right now it looks like top 5 in no particular order is gonna be:
Rogue - Still looking OP in mythic plus, and decent in raid, bust mostly here for their M+ dominance.
Mage - Mage is looking strong for Mythic plus and decent for raid. Ranged are always favored for raid and having 3 ranged dps specs means that 1 of them is likely to be good.
Also bringing both in and BL which are getting removed or severely nerfed, means that if you have a team of 5, mage brings too much to leave out, but if we see 3 melee meta again then maybe not.
Warlock - Always top tier in raid due to good utility and one of the only classes to do proper split cleave. Also uncapped aoe is nice. Also looking like a top contender for M+.
Hunter - Always good for raid as long as BM is medium tuned due to losing 0 damage while doing mechanics. Now that everything is target capped, it’s no longer as much of a hindrance for MM, so they might look viable for M+, overall having 3 dps specs, 2 being ranged, makes hunter look like a top tier dps going into SL.
The last one is so tuning dependent and changes from build to build, but here are some of the ones that haven’t consistently looked top 5.
Boomkin - uncapped starfall and finally some good aoe damage bring them up in M+, but not looking convincing.
Priest - Spriest was insanely overtuned after the rework, now that it is more proper tuned it’s still strong, but bring very little to a group.
DH - if we see a rogue + mage meta again, DH would be good to round it out, and if we see mage + warlock meta and a different dungeon design to BFA, then maybe DH instead of rogue for the magic damage debuff.
For raid 1 is mandatory for the magic debuff.
DK - was overtuned for a while.
