Best Druid spec farming legacy raids

So, I am one of those who makes my characters’ specs their core identity, hence I rather roll new char for a different spec than changing spec on existing char.

Now, my Druid just dinged 10, and it’s only purpose is to be strong enough to farm legacy raids for class sets (transmog). Which spec is the best for farming legacy raids?

My educated guess: Guardian.

Feral. You’ll be able to get 200+% movement speed with little to no effort meaning you can speed run them to get more runs done in less time. (However this assumes your druid is level 60).

My Druid will probably not be levelled to 60 until my raid farm is ready to include Legion content. Right now I am farming vanilla dungeons and raids for transmogs, mounts and profession recipes, with more classes to be rotated in to the raid farming.

my feral druid is locked at 35 for now and run all dungeons quick and easy (one shotting) dungeons upto wotlk , i gues for raids i need to be 40 but that wil be for later when i completed everything i want and go to the next expac cata

Even “out of the box”/before gear and before 60 Feral Druid will have a higher movement speed than other classes. Damage intake shouldn’t be an issue in legacy raids, and you get stealth + spamable AoE.

Thanks everyone, Feral it will be then.

Depending on the level you might want to consider guardian. With feral affinity you can get the same speed increase ferals get and they have a reduced cooldown on stampeding roar which is another speed increase ability similar to dash.

Edit: I checked and the stampeding roar rank 2 is level 49. If you’re not committed getting that far it doesn’t really matter.

Food for thought then. Definitely an Agility spec, so I can at least craft some levelling gear while I make the final decision.

If I go Guardian, I will definitely go for Feral Affinity.
I assume Guardian is better for cheesing/mitigating unskippable mechanics, but do they also have spammable AoE?

Both feral and guardian have Swipe and Thrash. Their main difference is that guardian lacks most cat form finishers and some offensive cooldowns while feral lacks most rage consumers and defensive cooldowns.

You can definitely run guardian in cat form and just spam swipe and thrash. And bear form swipe is spammabe on GCD.
