I am thinking of creating a horde mage. I know looks are important to some, as you have to look at it for a length of time, but are any of the racial traits useful at high end content?
I’m looking at arcane spec, and yes i know at the moment they seem to be suboptimal compared to other classes, but I love mages.
No, the spec isn’t set in stone yet, the class however is.

Bloodfury is a nice cd. Tauren have extra crit damage, that tends to favour frost more though.
I think a lot of the m+ guys use alliance races
i personally prefer horde over alliance, and dislike tauren looks unfortunately. best alliance race?
Usually dwarf if you’re min-maxxing. Tbh it’s not really all that relevant, we’re talking about 1% damage or so here. You could just pick a race that you like the look of and be absolutely fine
