Best proffession guides?

Does anyone have any recommendations for profession guides? Recently decided to try retail again and professions are the one aspect I’m struggling to grasp with all the quality types, where to spec etc.

I’m a JC/Miner and just feel like im getting barely any gems for the amount of ore im prospecting.

I also have that with my (low level) JC.
I thing the best way is to make two crafters: one specializing in Shaping for producing the reagents and a second for the finished products.
