Best PvP Azerite Traits for SV Hunter

So after 8.1,which ones are best for pvp, arenas and bgs.

Im currenty using these :
Head: Wilderness Survival,Blur of Talons,Overwhelming Power,Nature’s Salve
Shoulder : Primeval Intuition,Venomous Fangs,Overwhelming Power,Shellshock
Chest : Battlefield Focus,Heed My Call,Resounding Protection

Im wonder how good are : Swirling Sands,Elemental Whirl,Azerite Globules,Wildfire Cluster,Earthlink,Treacherous Convenant,Serrated Jaws,Guttripper ….I have access to these as well but I go with traits mentioned above. Thanks

3.3k xp

I’d recommend 1x wilderness, 1x primeval, and then as many blur/battlefield/latent you can get, all the others are about the same, i’d rate them in this order (BIS would be 1x primeval 1x wilderness 3x latent and then 1x blur/battlefield)

Battlefield > Blur > Latent > Venomous > Serrated --> just pick whatever if u dont have these options

Overwhelming > Heed > Earthlink > Gutripper --> rest are borderline useless

For the defensive traits I’d go atleast 1x Duck and cover and then i’d rank them as

Resounding Protection > Nature’s Salve > Impassive Visage --> rest are borderline useless

Thank you very much for your input Bicmex, that’s actually very helpful! So the ideal setup (supposing one has 3 Azerite parts with 2 outer rings) is;

x1 Wilderness, x1 Primeval Int, x3 B.Focus and x1 Blur?

Would this “setup” even be possible to get?

Thanks a lot, sorry for late reply I was absent. What pets do u prefer ?Cheers

raptors/moth

In 2vs2 do u go for kill on healer or dps?

Cheers

Depends on what comp you are playing and what you’re against. Most of the time you want to hit the dps, but since dampening ramps up quite quickly dealing damage overall is more important than focusing on only 1 target the entire game.

Like, if you’re against fury/hpal and your freezing trap is on cooldown, it doesn’t really matter if you hit the warrior or the pala, just hit whatever is best for the situation. And knowing the situation can be hard, especially if you’re new to pvp. Really basic things are stuff like, swapping targets whenever they pop a defensive cooldown (unless you have to seriously overextend to hit the other guy) are things that should be practiced a lot.

Learning from watching streams is also a very beneficial, i’d recommend tuning into dilly_wow’s stream, disyo’s stream, jellybeansxz’s stream or my stream bicmexwow and ask a question if you have something specific you would like an answer to.

Some great info here Bicmex, thanks very much for posting. I’m just getting back into my hunter and was toying with the idea of switching to Survival now my old arena partner is back. Can you suggest what class(es) would compliment a SV hunter?

Fury, ret, outlaw, shadow, destro, feral (i’ve seen boomy work awell) If you play with one of those classes you should do fine.
Honorable mention to demonhunter, ele and unholy, aswell.

Best healers depends on the comp, but rsham/hpal/discs are usually always the best ones, but rdruid and mistweaver aint that far behind either. Under 2400 i’d say it doesn’t really matter what healer you play with, aslong as you are comfortable with the player, not the class.
