Best race for shadowpriest for pvp?

Hi :slight_smile: I was thinking to roll priest. But was wondering who is bettter UD or Human shadowpriest ? (or other race?)

While human is good to remove stuns.

As a human priest u face ud’s and especially rogues who have Wotf.

If im correct human is better for arenas, but for world pvp/ bg’s it might be ud?

What’s your experience/ what do you think?

More important is which realm as that will tell you which faction.

i will choose the realm according to which race is better :wink:

Both are top pvp races for priest for each faction. Human prob is better since alliance is stronger in pvp now, but you can play undead and be as much successful as human. All depends on which race looks better for you

Can you clarify in which aspect alliance is better at pvp?:

-alliance is more dominant as in population?
-Alliance have better pvp racials overall?
-Or you also think alliance is better in arena?
-or…?

  1. not sure about alliance dominance, pvp people still play more as horde, but it doesnt mean anything if are not going for ganking in world pvp
  2. mainly undead will of forsaken was a bit nerfed (but still best horde pvp race)
  3. humans got ability to remove any cc (undead can only dispel fear)
  4. humans have racial ability on bonus stealth detection (since you are priest you will be focused by rogues)
  5. you dont have to fight against humans as alliance and their any cc removal ability

Have you considered night elf male or draenei male gigachad?

Ive been nightelf male shadowpriest 2200+ rating 5v5 in WOTLK. Shadowmeld is good and helpful in world pvp/ defending objectives bg’s. It’s just that i have a trauma of ud rogues :wink:

Troll is very good as shadow priest, the racial makes you burst on setups.
