Returning after a break from the game, really excited for War Within, but need to re-roll on a new server as my current one (Kul Tiras) is basically dead.
So I’m looking for advice on the best EU PvE/RP servers for Alliance, preferably with a decent number of folk from the UK or Channel Islands.
All realms are now Normal realms, with the options to opt in and out of PvP in open world via War Mode.
Guilds are currently already cross faction and in TWW they will be cross realm as well. So the realm you choose to reside on has become less and less of a factor.
If you are into RP the place to be is Argent Dawn. If you want the highest populated Alliance Realm it’s Silvermoon. However you could just look for a guild that suits your needs and play from wherever.

Kul Tiras is part of a connected group of realms with Alonsus and Anachronos. It means you can join any guild from the 3 realms - there are still some that are raiding I think.

I can’t say much about RP since I don’t partake. I see a few people from Argent Dawn in the keys I run, and I think that’s an RP server, so perhaps that might meet your interests?
Since Cross realm guilds are coming with the next expansion, the realm you are on will become irrelevant. I would not consider paying for a transfer at this point in time. You will probably find that the world is fairly well populated now. Players are moved around to consolidate populations without actually leaving your server base.
No need to pay for server transfer. Unless you have grinded a lot of reputations on your current character, just roll a new one on Silvermoon. Even if you have, more and more reputations will become account wide. And old expansion factions are irrelevant now.

They should just have 1 mega server per region and just balance them all evenly in the background.
They are essentially already doing that. With TWW your realm no longer matters and you can join any guild on another realm. We already have cross realm zones, cross realm trading, including gold etc.
