Hey guys, i´m playing around with my DH alt, mostly for pve and went for NF covenant, but as soulbind goes, what´s the best one? Nya or Dreamweaver? Thanks in advance
Korayn for any multi target fight, or where there are occasional adds (M+ and most current raid bosses).
Niya for pure single target.
Oh thanks a lot, and for pvp? Niya aswell?
That, I can’t answer. The only PvP I’ve ever done was a bit of messing around in BGs in BfA.
My guess would be that it depends on the type of PvP. The main reason to take Korayn is for first strike, which gives you increased crit chance for 20 seconds every time you attack a new target. If you’re in situations where you can benefit from that, I’d say probably take Korayn. Otherwise, Niya.
But someone might come along who actually does PvP and can give you reliable advice.
Once fully talented there is no real singletarget dps difference between Niya and Dreamweaver (like 10 dps or so) but to perform good with Dreamweaver you would need to stand in that area that buffs haste which can be tricky or impossible in some fights. However, Dreamweaver offers a free death and also better AoE dps by a stronger The Hunt.
Korayn shines on hectic add cleave fights like Ner`zhul or Dormazain by often proccing First Strike buffs, not really on constant aoe/cleave.
Niya for pvp.
*Korayn for Pvp
This is also an issue of talent build. If the fight allows it, demonic can stand still; momentum requires almost constant movement.
Check /murlok.io. Korayn was the best in s1, not bad now either (especially for 2s), but now in s2 Niya is better and logically more popular. Even Tren (awc player, no1 dh) confirmed it.
Thanks a lot for the replies guys, i will try to figure out, i am still using Niya for now, but might try Korayn.
Dreamweaver free death at least in pvp is really a lucky case, most of the times ppl kill the seed before it has time to rez you tho.
You know you can swap them before arena starts. Naiya might be damage option and Korayn one for extra survivability.
Thanks a lot mate
