Morning guys!
I have been stacking Mastery on this shaman because some guy here was saying it is very good stat for Restoration shamans.
Now I get back to M+ scene realize it is very bad and I cannot heal even the critters in there. I cannot even time a 5 run anymore 
What shall I do? Shall I stack Vers instead?

I understand it is sort of a trolling post. But for just healing mastery stacking is better than versa

If you canât heal a +5 its not your stat prio thats the pressing issue.

You need to use weapons from current expansion. Legion weapon is far too weak to do anything with it. After that vers is the best stat, even though itâs not the best healing stat, because it affects both your damage and your healing the most so just equip vers and vers corruption, 3x igneous potential+heart of darkness and you will see you will be pretty strong.

He is also doing heroic raiding (or he got lucky on the azerite helmet on 4 dungeons weekly) and finishing higher (to +10) keys in time. Equipped some weird gear like the legion weapon and created this topic.
Raids: Crit > Versa > Haste/Mastery
I keep my haste at least at ~11% to not feel so slow + got wrathion trink. Baseline mastery + neck/back is enough.
M+: Versa > Haste > Crit > Mastery
Versa reduces damage taken which is important to counter oneshotting on higher keys (hello Freehold 1st boss), increases both healing and damage done. Crit doesnât increase Lava Burst damage in any way, while haste increases frequency of Flame Shock ticks which leads to more frequent Lava Surges.
Arena:
Versa > Mastery > Crit/Haste

No one said to stack mastery, you just didnt understand the information you got
Raid? Go crit. M+? Go versa then haste. For the level you do though, just pick whatever has the most ilvl, int is your main stat afterall.
I am sure somebody said Mastery is bad for m+ and it shouldnât be used in m+. Then this guy who I followed his advice was saying it was good stat.

Well, the topic where it was discussed is 404âd, so i cant link it to you. But no one said to stack mastery. No one. But even without mastery stacking you still get alot of mastery as shaman. But u are just trolling with this topic because it came up yesterday again, so have a nice weekend 
For your +5 mastery IS good. People stand in more circles, more damage, you heal more. Mastery 
The reason people go versa is that mastery is not doing damage, while versa is.
True, its not like mastery is bad, there are just better options out there if youâre not chucking lava bursts and lightning bolts thereâs not really any need to stack versa either. And in the end of the day, it all works anyways.

That is not a stat weight problem.
My god how did I forget my legion weapons. Maybe I was farming for reskin and kept it equipped.
Now I understand after reading the replies. I should depend on myself and search. Though players here may have good ilvl or complete 15 doesnât mean they are good some of them maybe got boosted.
