Best tuning for my configuration

I have an MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard with a core i7 intel proc + two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti +H115i pro cooler.

I am using corsair link to monitor temperatures of diverses parts of my system while playing and I would like to know what would the best configuration to play WoW (inside game config as well as “outside game config” like SLI or not etc) for my current setup, knowing that I don’t want to melt down my PC whereas I also don’t wan’t to evolve in the game in a lego-looking world.

In corsair link I always used the “balanced” profile until I remarked that the H115i pro temperature was a bit high (thanks to the always red led) and then I switched to the “performance” profile, but all of this I really fine tunable.

SLI isn’t officially supported in WoW and when enabled just generates a lot of stutter. Multiboxers used SLI quite often to handle multiple clients and that’s about it.

What is your resolution and display refresh rate? And which i7 do you have?

I indeed disabled SLI.
Monitor = Samsung U32H850 32" 4K Ultra HD
Resolution = 3840 x 2160 & Refresh rate = 60Hz
Core i7 = intel core i7-7700k kaby lake 4.2 ghz
In WoW/System/Graphics I have :
Anti-aliasing = Primary
Vertical snyc = Enabled
UI Scale at 1 but unticked
(Resolution scale = 3840 * 2160 at 100% and I play full screen)
Graphics quality = 7 (recommanded)
Texture resolution = High
Spell density = Dynamic
Prjected TExtures = Enabled
View distance = 7
Environment detail = 7
Ground clutter = 7
Shoadow quality = High
Liquid detail = Good
Sunshafts = High
Particle density = High
SSAO = high
Depth effects = high
Outline mode = high

CPU overall should be fine, especially for 60Hz panel. At 4K your GPU will matter, especially in Ardenweald and The Maw. 3440x1440 which is like 60% of 4K pixels already eats my Vega 64 but still there are performance quirks/“bugs” that if/when solved help with performance.
