hey guys, what i’m asking here is what is the best spec and talent combination for open world, killing mobs fast, general farming and farming old dungeons and raids? right now i’m playing demo and its kinda slow to farm things, alot of casting involved so does anyone have a better idea? an efficent build for farming trivial content?
Affli for trivial content, as you just dot everything and the mobs die on the first tick.
If you want to do lvl 120 stuff, I think affli can still be great due to its surviability/mobility. If you have warmode active, however, go for destro and spec into the pvp talent which increases Chaos Bolt’s damage by 65%; you will one/twoshot almost every mob that is not elite.
Demo can also do well, u just have to pull big groups as you can aoe them down 
I find destro to be best overall (with warmode active); it’s stupidly simple, just CB and everything dies.
oh yea focused chaos, also destro is really good if WM is active for aoe farming aswell, u got the radius havoc that u can place on the ground and u can see ur chaosbolt hits 10 targets at once, which is kinda awesome

Destruction or Demonology. I prefer destruction.
You have instant rain of fire (if you have enough shards) and you have cataclysm as talent, which is on cooldown, 1 minute or something like that. It has massive explosive aoe burst.
Also, you have chaos bolt and incinerate for single target nuke which is more than enough.
P.S: Your void walker can tank everything, it is just matter of question if you are going to be able to pull solo mechanics in Legion (for example). Everything pre Legion should be doable.
